It won't be Overwatch. UT and FNAF had the benefit of being dirt cheap single player experiences that had system requirements the average microwave could meet.

One thing I've noticed is a common denominator in all these fandoms is the ability for fantasy to run wild. All the darker aspects aren't fully explored but rather left to the viewer's imagination.

Take MLP for instance. Obviously, on the surface it's a kids' show. But if you look into it a little deeper, you'll see them hint at other, more adult things. There's more there that's never really explored in the show, yet it's hinted at.

That's where the fandom comes in, filling the gap. Fandoms are about expressing your creativity. Latching onto something else to do so, certainly, but expressing it nonetheless.

If you want to find the next big autismal fandom, look for something that's easily accessible (that's a pretty big one, it needs to be easy to get into), and something that has gaps to fill.

That is what will be the next big thing.

From all those things mentioned by OP only Undertale seem to have a strong hipster factor it's indie, it's cute and "peep" with some maymay references and stuff so there is potential but I'm not sure if the game itself is enough, perhaps if they had a tv show based on the game it would be possible but still it would have this "cool" irony of grown up men fanboying over a show for little girls which makes it automatically less interesting.

Overwatch seems too FotM and Zootopia is part of the Furry Cycle and therefore unlikely to hiyt the same brand of annoying autism.

The hing with FNAF and Undertale is that both came out of the left field too (and since Ponies had basically beend dead for like a decade or so before fim tickled the right bums arguably that too), so any large budget franchise with high awareness like those 2 have low chances.

Undertale hit all of tumblr's buttons. It was so easy to understand that you could more or less understand the general plotline and all the characters through fan-art alone (which was a key factor in making Homestuck the autism king)

Overwatch is something you can only enjoy through getting into the game itself and playing. To some small extent you've got people spewing memes (HIGH NOON HIGH NOON HIGH NOON) but tumblr faggots can't just watch a couple lets plays and then join "the fandom". Undertale appealed a little to everyone. The demo had more effort put into it than the rest of the game, but at that time people probably thought that if the demo had that much shit in it, then the full game must be amazing. Then you had the people who liked it because it gave them a goat to masturbate to, and so the furry and muslim communities were getting excited for it too. With that much autism the game was spreading everywhere, then the game released and Tumblr was hooked by the gay characters and shitty anime jokes. On release every possible internet community that mattered was spreading the game, and so it exploded in popularity.
