Sure, why wouldn't sports exist? Nobody needs to own the teams, probably some kind of local league will organize. This happens all over the place with players that can't get into pro leagues or unpopular sports.
There could still be rewards for top athletes. Maybe a local shoemaker will make him the most wonderful shoes, or it could be like competitive shooting, where the winning prize is often just another gun.
Pro wrestling is more like theater than sport. That will still exist. Why wouldn't it? It's hilarious.

Sports are an expression of competition and domination. They represent bourgeois (even feudal) ideals and are even more reactionary than art. Every single sport belittles and glorifies oppression.

Fight managers regularly do this, to avoid a loss (and so less future ppv buys) and bend over backwards to avoid actual competition and opt for fighting cans.
