You don't know anything about national socialism, there was never a deserve to preserve "genetic variety", Hitler talked at length about how nature preserves the strong naturally and culls the weak, then made a philosophy regarding eugenics. Animals are ecological necessary, niggers are not. They didn't need, or preserve that technology for that matter, to hunt their wildlife to extinction and never learn how to domesticate or farm anything.

I get the feeling that people make fun of libertarianism for the same reason they make fun of christianity; because it has no "teeth". This article is unnecessary horseshit, Ron Paul was railing against neo-cons and globalists since the fucking 80s. Just because he wasn't one of the Pat Buchanan's of the GOP doesn't mean he didn't have legitimate concerns.

This guy was mocked in 2007/2008 for sounding the alarm on the Fed, had his ideology hijacked by the establishment powers with the rise of the Tea Party, and stuck to his fucking guns at the 2012 RNC by refusing to endorse Mitt Romney despite being the intellectual grandfather of the Tea Party movement.

That guy was probably the only hope most of us had back in 2011/2012 when 4/pol/ was still relatively new. And hearing Trump bash the Fed in his first general election debate against Hillary showed that it wasn't all for not.

The world changed drastically from 2012 til now, Ron Paul was the only anti-globalist with a shot back then when liberals AND conservatives were ten times more braindead than they are now.

The way I understand it is basically:
His movement (Which I admire, I think it is true Americanism) simply was not radical enough for the times. He was very popular, and AGGRESSIVELY suppressed by the GOPe. But his supporters were largely the midwestern Grandparent type, older folks who want a return to old-school American liberty. It was reactionary in a sense, but without the youthful drive and energy that powers Trumpism.
I think that in an ideal world, we could return to classical liberalism. But the libertarian movement is missing several key factors in dealing with the modern world.
It fails to combat cultural marxism in all its forms, feminism, multiculturalism, etc. The early American democracy it claims to imitate would not have suffered women's rights bullshit or floods of mestizos. Even other white people were barely permissible. Don't fall for the "early America was an immigrant paradise" bullshit meme.

Basically, nationalism versus globalism is THE struggle of our age and siding DECISIVELY with one versus the other is what allows a candidate to win, such as Trump coming down firmly with nationalism. Ron and Rand Paul are not viable candidate s because they do not accept and adapt to the reality of this struggle.

Looking back at the 2008-2012 era, it's really amazing how far we've come, in terms of America's political scene. The swing right is really incredible. I never would have expected that withing only a few years the Left Wing would be in hysterics over Nazism in America.
We're really witnessing an important time in American politics, this may be the return of real conservatism. The status quo since the 1960's of both parties being neocon globalists might be finally broken.

Ron Paul was /new/'s and Holla Forums's Trump to a much lesser extent. It just wasn't memed to the nth degree. I think colonizing and claiming Africa for white societies (See: old South Africa) is fine and can work great. But the line of thought that we need to kill every single African through the fucking jungles of the Congo as soon as possible is immature and unrealistic at best.

This. The point of nationalism is not to become a new form of internationalism where all foreigners are subjected to some super-state, it is for people to be where they belong, their own nations.
