Job increases in education are all bullshit administration jobs that shouldnt even exist. They are entirely funded by student loans which are crippling an entire generation financially.

Job increases in healthcare are mostly low paid shit (literally) work taking care of the increasing old people population which is funded by Medicaid.

All the jobs created in the women dominated industries do not create value. They suck money from the economy. There is more to practice for combat that plinking. I am like other user, couple times a year I go out to the range and actually shoot rounds. No, I will never hit well enough to qualify as some special operator sniper out at a mile, but I can do well enough if I need to engage the average military 'sniper' from most units. And since that is going to be the most rare and unlikely thing to practice for, it makes little sense to worry about it when price is an issue like so many have. Plinking at the range is not practice.

Practice is putting on some weights and running up and down steps for an hour. Doing high intensity shuffles until you cannot move, and doing even more. It is getting down and pounding your fucking face into the dirt till you love it. It is doing enough pullups that if you have to climb up any building in your area you can do it and not suffer from excessive heart beat while under stress. Training is doing clearing drills at home rather than playing call of duty. It is taking an rough unbeaten path out of the way just because there is time before you get somewhere. It is learning to see with your eyes rather than being an oblivious lemming. Hell, just knowing how to hold your weapon in a combat situation is more important than being able to hit paper at even the short three hundred meter range for the vast majority of people. I can easily teach an person who has never even stepped onto an range how to out shoot others in short range engagements like they would be experiencing in any 'happening' situation that didn't involve working as a unit.

Anyone whom thinks going to the range constantly is helping their shooting is not effective in combat. I can teach a man how to shoot every bit as effectively as any soldier on the battlefield today using my $200 pellet gun in the back yard in a day and he will keep those basic skills for years. I can make him an exceptional killer in a week every afternoon by taking away his paper, and using alternative targets and targets that move. And shooting targets that do not look human is a waste of time unless you are doing very long range practice to ensure perfection of your shot group.

I know the heath care industry fairly well, those "elder care" type jobs are a complete work. Basically min wage and fuck all for benefits. End up overworked and underpaid, not worth it. Fields like nursing are worth it but then if you got the credentials you'd get the fuck out of Canada because far more money down south.

Anyone worth any money got the fuck out of the country, the rest of us are just kind of waiting for the end.

Genuinely met an autistic dude who had his career slowly destroyed by NAFTA over the course of a decade. Almost had a lucky break getting into film production, until the recession hit and all of their jobs got shipped overseas, or to Canada.
