For those who don't know, Revolt was an attempt to split GG and cause infighting with another GG board.

To be fair, /gamergatehq/ partially brought it upon themselves by opening up to attack with PR-cuckoldry and by trying to dissociate from Holla Forums, as a result revolt had greater appeal to Holla Forumsacks and could thus sustain itself.

A lot of us didn't want to do that. If it was a tactic by the enemies it's made, then it's the closest GG has ever got to being co-opted. We're all over that now IMO.

Of course, it could be that Gamergate collectively let it's guard down for a few months.

I see nothing wrong with these two things. This is what I mean by getting soft, initially nobody gave a shit about what other people think or whose feelings it hurts, now you have a board too afraid to do anything in fear of being branded bigoted. One of the early things that is proof to this is when Redditors would actively try to go against anyone even suggesting to get into contact with Fox News because "b-but we don't want to be labelled conservitards" when every liberal media outlet was (and still is) crying mysogyny. To make it even more hilarious, it was Breitbart that replied and not the liberal media these newfags were begging for attention from. Even without revolt's help you would still get "gamers are literally Hitler" type of shit because your enemy does not care what you INTEND to do or how much of a goody two-shoes you try to make yourself be, they will shit on everything you care about if that means they can stop you from interfering with their plans.

As if all of that hasn't been known before revolt opened shop.. Gamergate remnants and the rest of us don't like them not because they go full radical but because they were the very fags behind /honeypot/'s instability and couldn't stop being so autistic over them losing control of the entire thing.
