When I was in the USMC, this shit happened all the time. When we did our pre-deployment training in Yuma, everyone was given an allowance for food, etc. This was long enough ago that I can't really remember the details, but we were given like a PAC card or whatever it was called, and we could use it to withdraw money or spend at the PX for stuff. I kept me fed and I used it for its purpose and didn't waste the money, but like half the unit would go as far away as California and withdraw hundreds of dollars at the ATMs in strip clubs and blow it all on cab fare, booze, and strippers. Some strip club ATMs charge you as high as $20 just to use the fucking thing. I know some guys were blowing off $200 every night for a period of like 5 weeks.

When we got back, the S-1/admin shop spent like a fucking week burning the paper trail for everyone and it was almost like a fucking RICO case right before my eyes. So it doesn't surprise me at all that this shit is still happening. The military bitches all the time that they don't have enough money and then you go to find out that almost everyone in the military is just burning their personal and allocated funds on stupid shit.

A huge no-no in the IG report that is enough to get his commission revoked. Fraternization with an enlisted soldier, especially one that is implicitly sexual in nature, is a fucking no go area of the highest order. It can be paved over slightly with administration punishments for the lowest enlisted, but officers and senior nco's are pretty much required to be kicked out. Only time they are not is when they are being cover for by higher. And fucking GENERAL of all men, fucking anyone that isn't a civilian or another senior staffer (not under his command) is a no brainer as far as career ender at the least. The guy shouldn't be getting a slap on the wrist, but his commission stripped, and his retirement benefits ended.

On to another rant. Senior Generals virtually never run around with non nco or officers as cadre. That means the female, and likely him, are married to other people. That is called adultery. And unlike in civilian life, that isn't ok, that is an criminal offense. Jail time if higher ups decide to pursue it, and yes, it is that arbitrary a judgement call most times. Even if he is single, and the female was a married civilian, the regulations still call it the same thing. That itself could be another reason (not excuse) to strip his clear lack of judgement and failure to follow regulations under the UMCJ.

There are also explicitly listed things that are documented as NOT being allowed to be bought period. Listed above and beyond the general rule you listed. BECAUSE faggots have done the waste government dosh on strippers and escorts before… repeatedly.

Combat MOS in Army, we had a couple of the actual cards in our unit. Holy hell to even get it out of lockup to be used by anyone but co or top, even supply sergeant couldn't touch the bad boy without prerunning what need to be bought. But the moment we stepped around an worthless pog unit that was supposed to actually supply something, the shit they bought with those things… how the fuck does an e-7 let an pfc run around town with an unit credit card. Dude, I have some horror stories about strip clubs. I only got dragged into going barely a few times, and stupid shit always went down. There was always a fight in the parking lot, some girl in some shitty cavalier giving a blowjob, someone opening a tab and too drunk to pay it, leaving their debit card overnight just so the club could assrape them on false charges. I knew a guy who was dumb enough to do that and they falsely charged over a grand. Police didn't do shit about that, either. There was also a guy whose wife, his fucking wife, worked at the strip club. Just watching people from my unit throw twenties at her made me want to fucking kill.

That's definitely an issue, but, and sad to say it, but it seemed like everyone was pretty demoralized after Iraq and Afghanistan. Hell, Afghanistan is still going on but it's falling apart.
