Shit man, if you run with the cheat launcher, you can watch the stats that pertain to sex on the lower right corner.

The mechanics involved were pretty detailed. It's easier when you have the text overlay and can see the numbers, but without it, timing your orgasm to her's was a feat of mathematics and physics.

Let me give you a brief rundown on how it goes without the cheat overlay:

That's usually my complaint about Illusion games (besides the animations).
They are usually incredibly bare for gameplay. I get that it's mostly fetish fuel: the game, but still. Gameplay can make for some neat stories and give context for most of the fugging.

For AA3, having a job somewhere in the map at your choice, as well as having to pay for the bills and buy food for the girls that live in the same house as you would be pretty neat. Maybe some other NPCs that go around as well for other things, festivals in some days. Being able to give each girl a job as well like teacher, nurse, grocery store, library and then you could meet and talk to them on those places…

For Artificial Academy, the way the "school" works is so basic it makes you think it's actually a SexEd school only. Students don't even comment on your high Study\Physics stats, just be more inclined to like you and that's it. There's little to no feedback for the reasoning behind much the AI's actions and the story that can happen in there suffers a lot for that. Just having "Force" being a check between physic skill would be amazing, or rumor-mongering being based on study.

I quit playing this being fought over and fucked by 6 sex addicts is tiring. I should start a new run though.

And despite that, both AA games have given me some spontanous, game created stories. One memorable run of the first AA had my harem fall apart when two of the bisexual girls fell in love with each other and decided to turn the entire school against me. The other girls in the harem sided with the two lovers and completely destroyed my reputation in the school with one exception: the first girl to join the harem. In the end, she found me alone on the roof and told me she loved me.

The game was ok.

But I wish there was actually a challenge into getting into fucking them like in AA2.

I though this didn't bothered me that much, but it really did. I didn't even knew I'd end up liking her that much. It got to a point where I made friends with Vergil so he could study with me (seeing how he was the best in Study) so I could at least compete with Dante on that field.

Even Illusion knew everything outside of sex mode was complete garbage and added the "Free H" mode. It's really sad how bad it turned out considering how good the character creator was for Illusion standards.

That game was made with Unity. I usually defend the engine and blame the Devs for the crappy work they do, and in this case it was exactly the same.
They went with an open-world game and that screwed the loading times. Also probably all the shit they had to load for animations and customization.
