…to this?

A jew self inserted himself into the PPG Reboot as Blossom's love interest. It's the Kikes user, it's always the kikes. No idea if it really was the kikes in this specific scenario, but hey may be fun to compare and contrast how many jews were involved with those Scooby-Doo series

Sucking cocks like you OP

I wish Hot Dog Water became a regular character in the franchise.

You know you can post 2 pictures in one post, right, OP?
Just as the PPG reboot and Wabbit, it was CN's plan to "re-imagine" old shows into "completely new" concepts. It was unnecessary and completely stupid, they realized so, so they stopped, both this and wabbit were a failure, and I'm glad. You could ask the same about The Looney Tunes Show to Wabbit, because sure, TLTS wasn't spectacular, but it was fun compared to the shit known as wabbit.

Was Wabbit really that bad? I never saw it.

Duck dodgers was excellent, thoug.

I saw it a couple of times and it tries really hard to be old Looney Tunes with modern things, but it fails miserably. The humor is just stupid and boring, not even slapstick, and it just feels soulless. Bugs Bunny was really different and somehow unlikable, the redesign of some characters, even if done to resemble the original designs, it's just horrible, like Sam that looks more like old Elmer, basically Fat Sam, there's this squirrel pet sidekick that is pointless and the spanish dub makes it even worse. It's 3/10 at most.
On that note, that Scooby Doo show wasn't that bad, it's just the art style that ruins anything, and the Seth McFarland inspired humor, of course. If you can stomach it, it have solid humor, but with the standards set by Mystery Inc. this just looks like a really bad cash grab.

That was way before all this madness, though, and it was indeed really good.

Teen Titans GO happened

so was she a dyke, or what?

Two girls being good friends doesn't make them dykes.

The artstyle was garbage, but at least the animation quality was slightly above the normal flash cartoon.
The writing in BCSD was pretty good, and got better as S1 went on and S2 stayed solid 7/10.

The main writer behind BCSD for S1 and most of S2 had a lot of good shit to spill on CN and their practices regarding production. Worth a read; it's on Scooby Addicts by the user jcb.

Anyways, for the next show, since BCSD was officially cancelled, I'm hoping they just give a tv series to the guys that make the 2-3 annual movies. 22 or 46 minute episodes, but if it's the later, make it a yearly miniseries.
In reality, they'll make something so offensive to me that it will overshadow every other thing they've pissed me off with since I started watching this franchise decades, plural, ago.

Back to >>>/4chan/

But HDW was.

How so?

Are you suggesting that porno has lied to me?

Reality check: They have become from a general "bretty good 8.7/10" to "above average 7.2/10" in the past two years honestly, they still have a head advantage over the "What's new" movies era the same way Shaggy had over everyone else in that race but still. and even then that was just one (or two if good year) of the movies, the rest was unapologetic sponsor lego/wwe whoring to get money for the good movie's animation so it doesn't bother me.

Do you guys know if we're gonna get something else besides Shaggy's Showdown and the LEGO movie this year?

How so?
Well, I don't know but the intro with HDW had her hugging Velma's picture the same way Daphne did with Fred, their in-series relationship did made me believe HDW had the hots for Velma.

I only realized towards the end of the series that she was voiced by that actress that played Velma in the live-action movies

Yes.
btw, how does the Twin Peaks style counts on MI?
Its involvement too large to be just a shout out, but it has enough of himself to avoid the plagiarism tag, so fanboy-tier homage? I guess?
That whole show made many homages to relatively obscure horror/sci-fi content but the Twin Peaks stuff was too important and noticeable.

Between MI and GF, as well as a few other shows, the industry was definitely gearing up for the scheduled reappearance of the black lodge

Or it's pop culture and is one of those things a show with supernatural mysteries usually draw inspiration from.

I get that much, but still, you know that what happened in MI goes beyond your usual reference. GF made reference, MI made the reference a plot point.

Hotdog water's character really should have been Velma. Velma is supposed to be the nerd, but instead they just made her the bitch. Total waste

They should have made her a new member since they used her as much as they did, although at least they had a good reason for that.

I kinda enjoyed bitchy Velma a bit, especially since that personality is kept constant and coherent until the plot fucking breaks her ego at the end.

Velma's best when she's the sweet nerd girl that occasionally makes a playful quip about the monsters or Shaggy and Scooby's shenanigans in between vigilantly finding and piecing clues together.
Thing I hated most about MI was when Velma and Scooby make Shaggy choose one over the other, what a couple of arrogant cunts. Not going to lie though, it was pretty god damn funny when he chose Scooby.

But there can't be two sweet girls in the team, would be kinda boring and believe me, if there's anything I'm glad MI brought to the canon was sweet, ditzy Daphne, instead of the faux-action girl we saw in the last decade or the braindead fashionista beforehand, or whatever she was before that.
MI's Daphne is best Daphne and I'm glad they carried that over the current movies, also Velma is less of a bitch, more nerd but still snarky which is a great balance.

The WWE and LEGO films are garbage, but the other films are consistently the same in quality except Shaggy's Showdown which was pretty damn average.
Anyways, I can deal with 7.2/10, Scooby-Doo isn't a series known for it's 11/10 brilliance.

Nope, just those this year.
They usually only do two a year, except for the occasional year where we get 3 or only 1 reeeeee phantosaur was shit.
It's unfortunate that we've got stuck with a LEGO film yearly, but that's due to the LEGO sets and LEGO Dimensions, which are both out of flavour (LEGO sets were discontinued after 6 months and Dimensions never really took off despite lots of good content) so hopefully they axe those.

Someone's eager to read my autistic fanfic on the canonicity of Scooby-Doo :^)

Daphne being innocent and ditsy was always the best way for the character. Velmafags >>>/out/

Post it.

Autistic attempts at establishing canonicity of contradictory works within a franchise is literally my favorite type of autistic fanfiction

I once made a theory that every SD iteration lives on different universes, SDWAY, APNSD, WNSD, 90's movies, MI.
The original gang died in the Scooby Doo project, the current movies are the result of the MI reset.

That's the why of their carried over if more balanced personalities.

I think you meant Moon Monster Madness

Preface: TV Specials are counted except Hollywood, Behind the Scenes, The SD Project, Night of the Living Doo and Arabian Nights, as they are just really made to sell the brand name and made as jokes. Video games aren't counted, though I could potentially add them. Most are just randomly placed, though they can't occur during the age of Scrappy-Doo, as he's rarely present. Oh, and the shitty Puppet show and the stage shows aren't counted, because no one should have to suffer through them.

Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated is the starting point.
Due to the ending in which the universe is reset, we go from there. The gang is now used to both magic and fake monsters, so pretty unafraid of that shit. Time is reset to be placed earlier, about 30 years, to explain technology.
A Pup Named Scooby-Doo is retroactively added to their memory, as a way to justify their love of mysteries without their selves being aware they lived their lives already. Due to it being added by artificial means, they reference technology in APNSD that wouldn't be present in Where Are You? It's just a remnant of MI timeline.
After that, we go Where Are You?, The Scooby-Doo Show, both iterations of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, with The New Scooby-Doo films taking place randomly throughout. They don't matter to story, so they can go anywhere.
13 ghosts takes place after all of those, once the gang are older, in their mid twenties.
Boo Brothers, Ghoul School and Reluctant Werewolf occur back-to-back, placed after 13 Ghosts. This assumes the 13 Ghosts are captured, as the show was cancelled prematurely.
Shaggy and Scooby get their memories fucked with after those 3 successive encounters with ghouls, and can't recall their adventures.

Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, Alien Invaders and Cyber Chase now take place. In order, they are done Cyber Chase, Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost then Alien Invaders.
Due to the Alien's interference, the group get, once again, fucked over in the timeline. Time is now closer to original Mystery Incorporated timeline. This is pretty much just the Aliens seeing the problem and trying to restore it back to MI, but failing somewhat.

From there, What's New, Scooby-Doo takes place. Then, all the DTV films starting with Legend of the Vampire. There's a soft reboot in terms of personality and appearance, but I wouldn't look into it too much, as nothing important is changed. These DTVs take place in order, in two groups. Everything from Music of the Vampire to Chill Out can go in any order, then Goblin King to current DTVs in any order. The DTV Specials, like Spooky Games and Beach Beastie, are alongside the DTV films, and can be placed anywhere. They can be placed in either group of the new DTVs, post 2003.
LEGO shorts and the LEGO film are just LEGO interpretations of normal adventures. Any order.

Now, this leaves only 6 items unaccounted for: The 2 theatrical films, the 2 DTV films, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get A Clue and Be Cool, Scooby-Doo.

The films aren't set in the realm of the animated series, as there are core differences in the dynamic of the gang, and there are references to their past which can't be fixed by any of the animated shit.
Live-action order is simple enough: The Mystery Begins, Curse of the Lake Monster, Scooby-Doo (Spooky Island film), then Monsters Unleashed.

Get A Clue and Be Cool are, without a doubt, the worst animated series. Get A Clue is so stupid in it's premise, that if it didn't include the other 3 members of the gang making cameos, I'd write it off completely. If I had to place it, I'd put it after Be Cool, but before What's New. The gang have a mini break-up after starting college, Scooby and Shaggy do memes with the crazy uncle, which explains why the others only briefly appear, they are busy at school.
Be Cool is irredeemable, but if it must be placed, I'd place it before everything else in the modern timeline, before What's New Scooby-Doo, as they have graduated college by that point, but Be Cool mentions they haven't started college yet.

You could add A Pup Named Scooby-Doo as taking place before everything else in the modern timeline, I just don't like that as I wanted the series separated from before 2003 and after 2003.

I enjoyed Moon Monster more than Phantosaur, actually.
Phantosaur had lots of good elements, but I just didn't enjoy the overall story. The double twist and Shaggy subplot were pretty good, though.

Now Moon Monster Madness was the right level of cheese I expect, and the IRS joke makes me chuckle to this day.

What Scooby Doo tv shows and movies would you guys recommend on the whole? The autism in the thread has inspired me to make a recommendation chart.

Go off this list: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scooby-Doo#Scooby-Doo_filmography
TV Series
Everything except:
Scrappy-Doo (Watch a few episodes of it, if you don't like him, skip all 4 seasons, but he's not that bad for the most part; when he's bad he's BAD)
Be Cool Scooby-Doo is optional; watch sporadic episodes of S1, if you like it go on or drop it otherwise
13 Ghosts is very good but, big spoiler, the series isn't finished and it's unclear if they succeed. Obviously they do as all the series are in canon ;^)
Shaggy & Scooby Get a Clue is god awful and needs nuclear cleansing

Specials/TV Movies

You know you're in trouble when you spend more than an hour writing a post and need to split it up.
Send help.

Stage Plays
I liked them, but they're not for everyone. 2D > 3D, as the meme goes.

Comics
Read:
All 30 of the Gold Key Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! issues.
All 11 of the Charlton issues.
All 9 of the Marvel issues.
The Harvey Specials, of which there are 4 if I recall, but might be more/less. They reprinted the Gold Key ones in better quality, too.
The 21 Archie comics.
The two DC lines, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and Scooby-Doo Team Up! Both are really good; Where Are You is just the basic layout of the average episode, and the artwork is very true to the animation for the most part. Team Up has a flatter art style and features Mystery Inc meeting up with assorted DC and Hanna-Barbera/CN characters. Very fun.

Skip Apocalypse. Anyone telling me that's it's good will get bullied severely.

Misc
The Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode is alright. Nothing to go out of your way for.
The song W.W.S.D? by Ookla the Mok is alright. Again, don't go out of your way.

That about wraps up the entire franchise. If you'd want me to write a pro/con of each series/film, I could with my severe Scooby-Autism.
It only affects me with Scooby-Doo. I can otherwise function quite normally, but this series brings out my autistic spirit animal.

...

Thanks for all this, user. I didn't even know there was this much stuff out there.
You did this much already, might as well keep going.

Again you posted that, and again I will point out that MI happens after the original series, scrappy doo and 13 ghouls, because of the direct references from the main cast about those events. Your whole autistic chronology has no foundation to stand upon.
The universe reset was after those events had happened, there is no reason to suspect that they didn't happen in the new one, and that they will happen after the reset.

???

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

I can't be bothered reading what I said, but I'm fairly sure I included a sentence or two that states those events, like Flim Flam, happened in MI before their time, then when they experience the events of 13 Ghosts, remnants of past events in the MI timeline leaked through to the post-reset one.

Anyways, it's all just joking autism. Everything is completely non-canon to each other and anything that directly references something else is just meta-humour.
I wrote that while drunk and shitposting because some user said "wouldn't it be cool if everything was in canon????" or something like that, and hasn't been updated in 2 years, so I don't terribly care.

Am I the only one that thinks that show was tasteless as tofu diluted in water besides dumb?
Then again I haven't seen it since I was a kid, I'm probably thinking on the What's New gen DTVs. those were real bad.

This meme needs to stop, not even as a kid I liked it.

>

It's just more of the same but with a fresh coat of paint. Everything up until Get a Clue and Mystery Incorporated is the same general formula.

It's the weakest of the first four DTVs, but the animation quality and VA is still really good.
Personally, I dislike Witch's Ghost more, but that's the opinion of the minority.

(Very nice)
yeh tbqhwyf.

I really want to see a creepy, deranged, live-action take on Scooby Doo, done by David Lynch or somebody. Kinda like what they did on Venture Brothers, but less humorous.

that just makes it even more bizarre that she wasn't velma

Read Scooby Apocalypse or wait for the no-doubt shitty film they're making currently, which is due next year unless it got pushed back.

Why have one cute girl when you can split her into two lesbians?

Mystery incorporated was fun

Both are shit.

What the hell am I looking at?

Venture Bros parody.
It's just edgy for the sake of being edgy, so completely un-fun to watch.

Is it nothing but stoner and lesbian jokes?

Humorless faggot detected.

I bet you like Family Goy.

Sadly yes.

bump

Why is Fred so gay?

Nothin' gay about liking traps

He fucked Daphne how is that gay?

Fred loves traps.
Fred fucks Daphne.
Is Daphne a trap?

It's a great show I really enjoy but I think u spelt the title wrong lol

He loves devices or enclosures designed to catch and retain things.

Your trying too hard to bait, leave it to the experts.

I am just trying to discuss my favorite television programmes.

Fuck you cake boy.

SOMEONE SAY TRAPS?!?!?!?

What did he mean by this?

pick one

pick one

...

what a shit eater
heh, okay I forgive you

...

HA, just got that.

Could that not just be the suit that has a prosthetic dick?

Congrats, this thread is dead.

...

Both sides of the same coin.

Exactly.

...

both are extremely good
