My parents paid out the nose to get me into classes of ~8-12 students per teacher. They paid dearly for my chemistry and physics teachers to co-plan lessons with my math teachers. They paid a king's ransom to ensure literature and history were one double class period with both teachers in the room throughout.

Now consider that same experience could be had by the vast majority of American students at no extra cost to parents. Consider what discipline would be like if MOST parents signed disciplinary waivers, communicated with the teachers, controlled the purse strings, and trusted teachers to keep order in classrooms.

Conservatism, Inc. for its part has mainly defended DeVos for helping "inner city" darkies access charter or other alternative schools where they can actually learn. I would say charters help separate the negroes from the niggers. Clearly some Black and mestizo parents care about the education of their children, and some of their kids do want to try hard in school, but they can never have good schooling while they go to the same district as their more animalistic peers. Private schools are full of limousine liberals and their children, they are not necessarily better than public schools in terms of poz and cultural marxism, the one I went to was actually worse. Private catholic schools or military schools might be an exception. If you can't afford private schools don't fret it too much, just take time out of your day to ask your kids in detail what they learned in school and unteach the poz whenever possible. I have a kid on the way and my plan is to try to unteach any kike lies he learns in school at the dinner table and give him redpilled books for birthdays and christmas of gradually increasing quality/redpill while keeping television out of the house. I am anticipating that will redpill him without me being too overbearing.

Okay, so school vouchers make good sense if you have a kid.

But what if you don't? I mean it makes sense for people who don't have kids, but in the more pragmatic sense, suppose I don't have a kid. I still pay taxes that go towards funding public schools.

Under such a system, where do I, as someone who doesn't have a kid to use the voucher for, send my tax dollars? What happens to that money? Does it get distributed (evenly) amongst the entire state? Or what?

Your money is split proportionally between the public schools and the vouchers being used to avoid public schools. This is by design - we are all interested in the quality of the education received by our future countrymen, and we are all interested in the freedom of choice of our current countrymen.

Assuming this is done at the state (Or national for you Europoors) that sounds pretty slick.

To clarify, I do not know at what level the money "bucket" exists. I am not sure if DeVos / Trump have taken a stance there - it could be anywhere between district and federal for all I know.

I'd hope it'd be at the state level. District level leads to a bucketload of problems. One of the (many) reasons our schools are currently so shitty is because the funding is kept at the district level; ergo, wealthy areas have wealthy schools, poor areas have poor schools. I can see where some states, in particular those with big cities, would want to set it up at the district instead of the state level. IE, Upstate NY and NYC shouldn't be in the same pool.

I can't see it working at the federal level, however. The bucket is too big, and it'd be a bitch to keep track of every voucher at that level. Not to mention there's many areas that would put in more than they get out (Which while fair in some respects is unfair in others).

Imagine that the "bucket" if money is at the county level, just for example. If 10 per cent of the students in the county have parents who choose vouchers, then 10 per cent of the county education budget goes to the vouchers and the county budgets the other 90 percent to the public schools as the county sees fit.

I would rule out federal level too. I personally think state is also too big and would suffer from bureaucracy. I could be convinced to consider the differences between district and county - level funding buckets as I haven't fully developed a model for either of the two yet.

My worry is that district level gets too small and runs into the same risk as what we have now, only we get a choice between which poor school gets our tax dollars.

I can see your worry about at the state level. Perhaps district, city, county, and multi-county? As an example, take Michigan. Detroit and Lansing could be several districts, Alpena and Traverse City a single city, several of the southern Lower Peninsula could be a county, Northern Lower Peninsula, eastern UP, and Western UP could be three multi-county.

I suppose if it starts with each district choosing a money bucket level, then you can compete the systems to determine which level of funding bucket is most effective.

In fact, I believe that if each level of organization has fiscal sovereignty and can withdraw from a higher level of funding bucket at any time then the system could be permanent as a solution. This means that if a poorer conglomeration of districts is failing, a single district in which parents do not want to use vouchers can turn things around with the hard work of the parents making the district work for them. There's a continuum for the most individualistic educators (homeschool) and the most collective (state-sized buckets and there is no fiscal penalty for choosing any of these. There's only parents choosing what will work for their children and a nation contributing to that financially without prejudice.

These posts made me really happy for the future of education and then immediately sad at the history of my own education. I went to a majority white midwestern school in a town that was once literally ranked best in the world… Then the nogs came. By the time I'd graduated they'd literally built a second miniature highschool down the street for the growing mass of students who weren't capable of cutting it in the actual school.

I might add if it is too expensive for you to go to a non public school then reap the benefits of helping your child at home.
For example when I was learning multiplication tables (memorizing them) my gramma, who only had an 8th grade education, asked me how high I had to learn and I told her only up to 9's she was shocked that I didn't have to learn them to 12's as she did in country school. Me being the lazy little fuck was happy because i didn't have to learn any more than that which I tried to explain to her but didn't do very well at it. I am sure every kid could learn multiplication to 25 if they were required to. You just keep adding 5 until they learn that set of numbers and eventually they know them all. You will get the but I have a calculator argument which you promptly reply there is only 2 types of electronic equipment that what has failed and that what is a gonna fail. Plus you don't want to be a dead cell phone battery away from being a retard.
My point is user take an active role in your childs education specially in elementary make sure they understand fractions and how they work take a potato cut it in half and show them how half of a half is a quarter then show them how it works on paper. Use small numbers and then explain all numbers work the same.
