Now let me give straightforward metaphysics that can be used as another guide to the same answer.

There are no boundaries between things. For, if there must exist boundaries in order for things to exist individually, then those boundaries should be individuals requiring their own boundaries to exist, and those boundaries would need to exist and so on, boundaries ad infinitum. Now clearly it is absurd to contend that between individuals there exists an infinite number of boundaries, yet the admission of one boundary as necessary for distinguishing the existence of an individual from others leads by necessity to the inference of an infinitude of these boundaries. Ergo, we conclude that there must not exist any such boundaries.

Why, then, the appearance of individuals? Clearly, we are able to distinguish between individuals for the sake of convention, but what is the full meaning of this? For any given thing, you might imagine zooming in or out on the picture, and we find many surprising facts. For one, if we "zoom in" on the individual, we find that this individual is constituted by a plenitude of individuals, so on all the way down! And if we "zoom out" we immediately find the individual is locked up in a regular pattern setting it alongside a great many other individuals as part of a greater whole. The individual, we observe, has no absolutely independent existence. The reason for their appearance is because the representation of reality to itself constitutes a self-interaction. That self-interaction makes it impossible for local reality to incorporate information from global reality. The appearance of individuals - which have no absolute ontological independence as they might be commonly perceived - is the result of reality being processed through this individuated, localized information order.

We observe that these individuals react in regular ways to the environment around it. This leads many to infer the existence of 'forces' such as gravity. We "observe these forces" by observing the motion of those individuals subject to these forces. If these individuals did not exist, there would be nothing to embody the action of these forces. Likewise, we further observe that exhibited behavior follows a formula relating it to the existence of other individuals. If we infer the existence of some immaterial force that causes the regular operation of these objects, that would be conclude there exists something over and above the existence of these individuals. And if we infer this new reality above and beyond these substantial individuals because it is only possible to explain regular patterns of behavior with reference to a force separate from the objects, then we could further conclude there must exist some further force in order to explain the regular relation between these objects and the forces so-considered. And if there must exist some new relation between the objects and these forces, then there must exist some other new relation between the object and this secondary relation, so on and so forth ad infinitum. But clearly this is absurd, and it might be argued that there does not need to exist any relationship above and beyond the objects and the force. But if we only observe the objects and infer the existence of the force through these objects, it would be even simpler to infer that there only exists these objects. The regular behavior exhibited by these individuals is a result of their nature, and the "forces" they exhibit are embodied by those individuals and have no existence apart from those individuals.

If "josu" is zen teacher Joshu Sasaki, my interpretation would be that Joshu is saying that enlightenment is doing what is natural/proper. Zen came from Chan which was heavily influenced by taoism, in which the basic principle is to live in harmony with the Tao (the underlying energy that creates, animates, and is everything) which you do by being "natural" - acting with no effort, no resistance. When you finish eating, what naturally follows is that you wash your bowl.

Put like that, then I could consider that exercising intuition is the sensation of enlightenment. In order to do what's natural, it first must feel natural to do it.

That's a good way of putting it as far as I can tell from my own practice and reading. But figuring out exactly what it is in your field of experience that you're calling "intuition" and learning how to find it, what disturbs it, etc., is a much trickier process than just "doing what you feel like". From my practice, it seems to me the "intuition" that leads you towards enlightenment ultimately has one, unchanging message - let go, stop all effort, drop everything, reach absolute rest (embedded vid is the best description I've found).

FWIW, I think Kekism is entirely orthogonal to the practice of meditation. Kekism is much more inclined to collective ritual rather than solitary ritual. Collective ritual is a trait of Western religion which can be traced going VERY far back, older than civilization in fact. Anything further East than India (Hinduism is derived from Indo-Aryan religion, hence the feature of collective ritual) is inclined towards solitary forms of practice, with collective forms of ritual reserved for an elevated but still profane politics.

Meditation should be up to the user to pursue as he sees fit, but it shouldn't be promoted as a canonical element of Kekism. Canonical elements of solitary ritual should emphasize individual growth through study, exercise, and fraternity which would eventually form the cornerstone for developing collective ritual.

Not exactly. The Sangha (the buddhist community) is heavily emphasized in the buddhist canon and that aspect carried over into the East. It's one of the "three jewels", placed along side the Buddha, and the Dharma (the "truth", the teachings). It's stated many times in the Pali Canon that a group of two or more meditators is many times more powerful than a single meditator working alone.

Having a bunch of people do the same thing together does not exactly rise to collective. The difference in ritualistic elements observed in the Catholic Mass and an imperial procession (for the Chinese emperor) are fewer than that between the latter and some Buddhists meditating. Even now, while we shitpost together, we are solitary. Collective requires coordinated action by groups which can accomplish what individuals could never.

Buddhism makes such a big deal out of enlightenment, as if it were the spiritual end game. Contrastingly, in the occult it appears to me as though its achievement is one of the foundational first steps. I always had the impression that it is something peddled as a gateway to great spiritual power, but really it's nothing more than a perspective. A very important and necessary perspective if you wish to delve into the deeper truth, but that deeper truth would seem to be something only discovered experientially through study, meditation, application, and refinement. Enlightenment, if I actually have experienced it authentically, seems to have at most given me a greater sense of poise. It has great potential, but I must continue to nurture it.

I've never shared this story before, but now is as good of a time as ever.

2015 was a particularly bad year in my life. I had resorted to binge drinking and posting on /r9k/ for several hours per day. I was a "NEET" basically, and the internet was my primary escape from my shortcomings.

In the next several months, Kek the Frog God's existence was discovered, and it had hit me that more and more people began experiencing what I had went through. Certain signs in reality would confirm the Frog God's existence. Then, Shadilay was discovered.

And more recently, as I was meditating, Kek appeared. In all of my years of meditation, I had never really felt anything otherworldly, but to describe the sensation, it was as if I was being lifted up. It felt overwhelming, really.

Up until now I had never fully believed in supernatural forces, but to sum it up:

This is an important distinction to make.
There are basic rules which apply in 90% of cases, rules which ought to govern society. The remaining instances perhaps require the complete inversion of those rules. It's wrong to slay a man, except under those circumstances where it's not only acceptable but a thing to be lauded.

The thing is Christianity is about "salvation" while Kekism is about personal enlightenment/transformation. So it's more like Buddhism than it is like Christianity. Now, whether Buddhism and Christianity are at odds depends on the viewer; Buddhism doesn't care what gods you worship - it's just as comfortable with Ameterasu as it would be with Odin - but many Christians have an extremely exclusivist philosophy ie it's their way or the high way. Christianity has a very difficult time contextualizing spiritual experiences and spiritual beings who don't slot easily into the categories of "angel" or "demon." Also, Christianity seems to slam to door on future prophets and revelations which is one of the reasons I think it has a tendency towards being a fossilized religion, though there are some individual Christians who are alright.

No. Everything the buddha taught was directed at achieving what we call in western translation of buddhist material "enlightenment". Enlightenment would go along with having zero karma in the Buddhist theory. What you're calling "transcendence", a way to escape the world, is also associated with what's called enlightenment in western translations of Buddhist material. Upon becoming enlightened you stop the wheel of karma (and a lot of other things happen that the buddha doesn't talk about much for reasons) and, having become enlightened, when you die, you enter the parinirvana, escaping from the cycle of samsara (similar to what you are calling transcendence I think).

As I previously mentioned it's part being chosen, part having the right attitude, but what really did it for me was the complete abandonment I experienced through out my life. This isn't your average run of the mill abandonment, it's pretty much a working exile to be honest.

I'm gona do my god damn best to tldr this.

During my preteens my mother suffered a life changing injury (broken neck). My father Abandoned us. Mother fell into the hands of Doctors and went the Opiate route, my father a drunk I found my self on my own at a pretty young age.

I was an easy target, ran into the wrong person whom was a goon for pedogate, he uh made videos etc etc, was whitelisted and never faced prosecution or ever persecution. No one investigated it wasn't until he was trying to "finish me off" in 2009 for speaking out when there was about 50 officers at my house and at this point he had to flee the state. He was there looking for me, and if I hadn't told my roommate what had happened he probably would have had his way, but he fucked up and had to run.

After he ran, I still wasn't safe, small sect of the dept still works for them, while a different part of the department works against them, I only got out of the state because I had inside information, people feeling bad for me etc etc.

They hit me with a car trying to make it look like an accident, that didn't work I crawled to a semi truck and sat in the cab, met a driver of said cab and couldn't really talk at that point I told him 911 and cops that were looking for me responded first and called off EMS.

I lost all hope when they charged me of a DUI. It snowballed from there and I was put on probation. I was given a plea, I took it because I had no money and no way out.

When I met my probation officer I was told to never come back again unless I wanted to die.

Then I left and my life became remarkably better. I was homeless but you know homefree at the same time.

With that context out of the way, on to my actual topic. Lately, I've found myself occasionally slipping into odd poses in moments of idleness. Hands moving into various positions, bending over backward far enough that my head's upside down, a deep horse stance, standing on one foot… and so on and so on. Lately, standing on my toes has been popping up as well. Not the balls of my feet, but my toes. It almost feels like a natural reflex when these actions happen. Do any of you have some wisdom about physical effects of the esoteric? Sure, there's plenty of discussion about the mental side of things, but the physical aspect is also important. Thanks.

Only when this is achieved and samsara is emptied will I become a buddha myself.” In actual fact it may not happen this way, but anyone who has this motivation is called a “shepherd-like bodhisattva.” In the old days, sheep were not kept in fenced pastures, and the shepherds had to bring them down from the mountains to protect them from wolves. They would follow behind the sheep, guiding them into their pen and lock them in. A shepherd would take care of his sheep first, and only then would he go home and eat.

For the record there's one very simple and practical reasons I teach from Buddhist canon: they have excellent documentation. Vedanta Hinduism would work but there is very little information in the West about Vedanta. Modern Hinduism is full of shysters hustling for a buck. Hell, much of modern Buddhism, as foolish people practice, it is so close to Christianity the two are almost indistinguishable except for the lack of Jesus. Sufi wisdom would work but they encoded their mysticism in Muslim terms and Holla Forums would reject it. Gnostic Christianity would work but Gnosticism mostly died out around 300 A.D.

In general, Buddhism isn't concerned with deities.
Theistic satanism is.
Atheistic satanism is mostly just about personal freedom.
There's not very much overlap between buddhism and satanism, honestly.

Buddhism comes in several forms, but they all teach that emptiness is like the emptiness of outer space in that it contains everything. They see this as reality. Fear of death is used in Zen to make people question both life and death. Santanism, which is too broad a term to be very meaningful, is the worship of "opposite" energy, regardless of what form that comes in, with no regard to morality or feelings.
Buddhism and Satanism are opposite ends of the diagram.

To add, it could be argued that there is a slight superficial overlap between Luciferianism and Buddhism in that practitioners of both seek a direct experience of enlightenment/illumination, but that's where the similarity ends. The motivations, methods, and so on are not similar.

Contemporary interpretations of zen in English are really awful and full of garbage fabricated by the authors, usually derived form western psychological theories, but they at least get something right by constantly repeating the idea of sitting down and being still, which is a basically correct, though unhelpfully vague and nonspecific description of meditation. Mahayana "Buddhism" on the other hand has basically nothing to do with the path laid out in the Pali Canon. The central premise of the Pali Canon is that there is a way to end all suffering by the exercise of your own mind, and that this is the only way. Mahayana Buddhists, like the Pure Land sect completely throw away the central idea of the entire teaching, proposing instead that the way to become liberated is to pray to the Amitabha Buddha so that he comes and sets you free. It's like some retarded evangelical Christian version of Buddhism that's diametrically opposed to the philosophical basis of the actual tradition.

The different Buddhist traditions are meant to appeal to different types of students. Hinayana appeals to ascetics. Mahayana appeals to the generous. Vajrayana appeals to those in a hurry. Zen appeals to those not in a hurry. An actual lineage-geritage Buddhist Lama that lives near me is a member of the Tibetan Kagyu Karma Vajrayana sect yet he teaches from all of these traditions.

If you focus your attention on an emotion for long enough, you will express it. Visualizing it is a key aspect. The ebin magick name for this act is "mental transmutation". One of the fundamental points of esoterica is that everything exhibits the same limited set of principles. That means what you observe in one domain has some implication for another if you can recognize how they similarly exhibit the same principles - even if in different ways. In some sense, then, anything can be given an esoteric reading, if you're willing to broaden your confirmation bias in detecting patterns.

Now, that's all exoteric philosophy of science, but the patterns elaborated in these books map onto concepts and patterns you can observe in esoteric work associated with science. So you might go on to read and contrast these works:

Three Books of Occult Philosophy by Cornelius Agrippa (especially Book 2)

Kybalion by The Three Initiates

Phenominal thread. As I suspected, Holla Forums attracts the wisest of sages with access to the Internet. This is why (((they))) are very afraid, or anyone desperate enough to keep the human race reduced to a hive-mind.

While it's wonderful that sages and other anons who are on the right path share information in regard to 'enlightenment', I think there are still three things needed to be emphasized:

1. Plant small seeds for the normies. Simplify this information and never pour your whole bucket onto someone – they'll just be annoyed and confused. Small steps. Teach as though you're teaching kindergarteners. Guide them without them knowing your ultimate intention.

2. Travel and explore. Holla Forums is an incredible sea of information and a vital tool to proliferate and awaken a collective consciousness, but you grow and truly learn when you explore the world. Every great sage was an explorer to some extent. It will help coalesce what you've theorized and read. It will have you come closer to your true nature.

3. Lastly, I'm not sure this was emphasized, but you have to make atonement and forgive. This is imperative, and doesn't mean becoming a push over. I shouldn't have to spell it out for you.

I have a lot more to teach. I understand the secret to immortality and I can explain it very clearly. It isn't complex. Here is the conversation I had with a fellow magician a few days ago:
