Neon Chrome: Twin Stick cyberpunk shootan in >procedurally generated fashion. Environmental destruction, stealth, somewhat differring classes, it's pretty cool. Surprising amount of TECHNOLOGY for a twin stick shooter too(enemies can hear your gunshots and respond, stealth is light based for a certain class, you can break down certain walls and ambush enemies, going too close to a wall will not allow you to shoot because your gun is too long, etc)

I downloaded the game a while ago. There's 2 main torrents I downloaded. One worked with script extender and the other didn't because the script extender recognized it was an illegal file. If the one I gave you makes a directory that says it's from "Steam/SteamApps/Common" you should be alright. I have over 180 mods installed in my torrented Oblivion. Script extender is necessary for many mods so you'll need it if you want to mod your game past basic shit

The cut scenes crash. They just freeze and I have to escape out of them, then the game will crash when I close. The cut scenes work (barely) when graphics are all at the lowest setting. So something in the graphics settings is crashing the cut scenes. Not sure what yet.

My thanks. Here's a tip against cyber spider, just use every piece of cover you have at your disposal until it reloads, and then unload everything you have including your special ability until it reloads. If you're fast enough you can take it down to the next phase before it fully reloads.
Also if you're an assassin you can just use shadows to get out of sight.

Also why would most developers release their game as OSS and on steam, having to deal with two different methods of distribution. Also the possibility of a easier revenue stream on Steam vs a OSS model. Finally some developers are probably just getting their feet west with GNU/Linux and aren't shure if it is worth their time.

I know that the chances of anyone having this are slim to none, but does anyone have the revised version of Shin Megami Tensei II for PS1? Revised version fixed some nasty bugs in the initial release and can be differentiated by the fact that it has yellow/gold "PRESS ANY BUTTON" text on the menu, as opposed to white. I've looked fucking everywhere and I can only find the 1.0 version. Nicoblog should have the game prepatched (unsure of it's up to date, or if the team's even released more than the basic 1.00 patch) if memory serves. You'll probably need to look elsewhere for downloads if you're wanting the DLC costumes and stuff though.

To be honest I used an SSD in a desktop and then stopped, the reason why is that any sudden loss of power that isn't via shutting the computer down in the OS (i.e. a power outage or if it freezes up and you're forced to hard reset/power off) will cause the SSD to temporarily (and in the long run potentially permanently) cease functioning. Usually it manifests as the computer not recognizing the SSD for a few minutes after a hard shutdown. This isn't an issue if you're using one on a laptop since that has a battery and therefor will likely not suddenly lose power. Honestly, desktop hard drives are at this point pretty fast and obviously a lot cheaper for the size than an SSD, so I would stick to that for now.
