The actual definition, and by extension the people who identify as Alt-Right is literally just the Holla Forums meme incarnate. They believe jews were behind everything, that race mixing is negative, and basic white identetarians that need to make America to white people what Africa is to black people. They are basically neo-nazis, but they don't think socialism is the way to get to the white ethno-state hitler wished. Now you can get the two different kinds of alt-right people, the more normal Reddit varient that mostly believe in most of its tenants ironically or have some more tolerant variation (Like people who believe in "separate but equal" forms of segregation) and the other kind which basically think we need to segregate and discriminate against all minorities, that we should basically lock down our borders and put more effort into raising white people into their "former glory" or "future glory".

It's an identitarian movement basically, made up of a bunch of misfits who turned extremist because they're tired of being the white guy that gets the short end of the stick. They're the white guys that get fucked out of jobs because diversity quotas, they're the white guys that are sick of shit like BLM, who are sick of being disregarded because "you're a cis white male".

It's a reaction to the extremist PC movement basically. The left is the sole reason for it's existence. They didn't denounce the violence, they didn't try to encourage intelligent discussion, they didn't try to make sure their movements are intellectually sound, and the intellectuals on the left got tired of it, the people on the right took advantage of it and made a movement that is basically the same shit but for the exact opposite causes.
