Mine has been going good for over 5 years now. Average life is just now starting to get to the point where it's annoyingly short. 3 1/2 hours when clocked at 222mhz, 2 hours & 50 mins when clocked at 333mhz. Which, really it works out to about 3hrs @ 222, and 2:10 @ 333, because I won't let the battery drain to the point of shutting down. Once the indicator reaches one bar, I shut it off until I can plug it in.
Still, two hours is more than enough time for when I'm on the go, and for the most part, I just leave it plugged in when I play for extended periods of time at home.

Just to add that certain VNs (Rewrite, Grisaia Trilogy, Flowers) wont work at all in a CFW PSP because of some weird anti-piracy protection
Kind of funny that VNs, and not even the actual games, would go to such lengths in protecting themselves from pirates

Odd. I know Puella Magika Madoka Portable is glitchy unless in CSO format (or something like that).
Any way to bypass?

Where are you putting the emulators and their associated folder hierarchies? Because those go in the GAME folder where PS1 eboots go, not the ISO folder where PSP games go.

Eh, really?
I updated my CFW just so I could get on PSN in case I wanted to play some shit online,
but in the end I never played online at all except for that one time I borrowed Rogue Squadron, like, >5 years ago.
Stupid question, but you ARE running CFW right? If you turn your PSP completely off you'll have to launch CFW again before you run an emulator.
Enjoy one of the best handhelds of all time (if it only had better SNES emulation. At least retroarch devs are still working on the CatSFC cre)

1 thing, I said "like 2000 games" that means by rough estimate, not quoting an exact figure. Then as I mentioned; copies, multiple region versions of the same game, homebrews, hacks and bootlegs. I just checked and I've got closer to 2500 roms for the megadrive.
OP if you buy one of these kits, KEEP your original buttons and contact pads; the ones supplied in these kits… I found the buttons sticky and the contact pads were garbage altogether. sure. Also, if you dont want to fuck around for 3+ hours, swapping the faceplate and buttons can be done in about 10 minutes. but yeah, swapping the whole case? you are gonna be sitting on that shit for a loooong time.

my old snes emulator consistently wouldnt let me put the system on standby. the one I am currently running freezes the system when i take it out of standby occasionally. The emulation runs smoothly though, just some layer bugs, havent experienced anything gamebreaking. basically just the sprites in super metroid's cutscenes dragged a black box over everything. i could care but pl0x do link your favorite snes emulator here so i can try

If you meant goodset yeah, there's like 21,000 roms in the SNES though, it's hard not to believe you didn't organize a little bit. Then again I haven't bothered downloading the full goodgen set.
