So to anyone else that's read Metal #2 already, is Batman talking about Final Crisis here, or a different event from the New 52? I kind of assumed that even after Superman Reborn, the world is still more New 52 than Pre-Flashpoint, so that's pretty interesting if they're saying a massive event like Final Crisis happened in New 52 continuity.

As I recall, a common complaint about the New 52 in its early days was that Batman got to keep large chunks of his old continuity when most other characters were being completely reset. That didn't necessarily include all of Final Crisis, but Darkseid's Omega Beams did send him on a little trip through time, at the very least, which in turn led to Batman, Incorporated.
