I disagree. I think SJWs know they're pushing censorship, and are just fine with that. That's why they push the concept of "hate speech" as distinct from "free speech" or "protected speech." Even in the U.S., where such a distinction has zero Constitutional ground.

They support anti-hate speech laws, which in their minds are not exactly equivalent to censorship but more akin to drug or gun bans. Some of them surely see it as a tool to silence the opposition and protect themselves, others (seemingly majority) as a necessity, since hate speech can harm others and should therefore be banned.
