The culture we live in is largely a result of the material conditions of our society. If the world industrializes, the culture will change itself to fit the new material conditions. Since industrialisation requires emphasis on sciences, society will be more focussed on sciences, religion will decline, feudal systems must be abolishes to fit the capitalist system. Western values did not exist until they developed recently. Humanist values are a result of the overthrow of the feudal state due to its internal contradictions, "democracy" did not develop until the industrial revolution when cities and faster communication and travel facilitated the organisation of the working class.

The same will happen with socialism. Religious theocracy can not exist within an industrial or post-industrial society. Also

While they no doubt capitalized on the idea it's a pretty shitty theory to say the idea of race was entirely made up by them.
