Guy who wrote this post, something just occurred to me. In a lot of these cases it was just a law of averages thing. Eventually with enough popularity autism would have to find it's way in, just by sheer numbers.

So I think the real winner, the way to find out what had the most cancerous fanbase would be to figure out which one was most obscure, which overall had the smallest fanbase and was the least known, but by far thus had the highest concentration of cancer, you know?

Like, Game of Thrones is so huge and mainstream I'd have to imagine maybe like 50% of it's fanbase was cancer. MLP meanwhile is probably more like 90% cancer.

The game pushes you away from playing pacifist. Playing pacifist doesn't give you exp, and therefore gives you less hp throughout the game. On top of this, boss fights don't always have an intuitive way to win as a pacifist.
You're not encouraged to go pacifist, only told how not to kill people in the tutorial, and told there's a pacifist ending at the end of the game (I believe there's also a hint at the kill everything ending as well, at one of the other endings).
This game handled gay characters in a really good way, i.e. not shoving them down our throats. No characters went up to you and said "HEY IM TRANS BTW!".
If your problem's just that you don't want any lgbt characters in media ever, that's understandable, but that's not the same as hating the game for being "pro-lgbt".

For all I've posted about the game, I don't think it's an amazing game. Worse comedy and gameplay, especially time wise, than something like the mario and luigi or paper mario series. And it's worse as a short emotional story based game than a fucking flash game in "No-one has to die".

The biggest problem the game has is that it's unfinished. Toby realized after the kick starter had ended that the game he was about to take on wouldn't be something he can easily complete, which is why it feels so fucking rushed at times. Not to mention he couldn't figure a way to write in the one character that sold the game in the first place, the flower that knew everything you did, so he replaced him with funny skeleton man.

I've been following the game OMORI for the past year, it's a crowdfunded indie (J?)RPG with a tad more emphasis on story, similar to undertale, but it's gone through many delays. It seems like it will end up having much more actual gameplay and content than a game like undertale, but because of that it's gone for over the date they initially promised to backers.

undertale isn't a JRPG or any RPG at all. it is a puzzle game mixed with a (mostly easy) bullet hell game. it has RPG elements but they are tacked on.

The flower only showed up at the start and end of the demo. At the start to introduce you to the world/as a tutorial, and at the end of an area after a boss fight. I can see you expecting flower dude to pop up at the end of each area, but not as much as skeleton.

My bad, I more meant they come from similar inspirations, and then decide to add more story on top of those inspirations. Except omori won't be gutting all the RPG gameplay for the story.
