If you only restricted yourself to thinking in a positive sense, you're limiting yourself arbitrarily and making it harder to see outside of your environment or to "stand under the wall" or whatever it is, to do anything that's really timeless.

For me, socialism is about rejecting the fundamental injustice that is a small group of people taking the product of workers' labour when they have done absolutely nothing to earn it except enlist the state to enforce it on their behalf.

Unlike some of the people here, I'm a bit wary of violent means to our end, because I would prefer to avoid suffering if it can be helped. That does not mean that we should not uphold or attempt an alternative to the current system. I would also assume that most of these prizewinners' parents experience an above-average standard of living as well.
