Just got back from a run and some bodyweight exercise at the local playground.
Kept it light as to keep it a routine, having a feeling of missing out that will make me return the next day.
A month ago I got shingles and could not exercise, so I fell down into the sadness and misery. I am slowly getting up and back to the exercise regimen I had to stop suddenly. The EOOD subreddit (exercise out of depression) might be on to something. I certainly feel much better when I regularly exercise.
The mental strength is an important part. One is not going to win over many hearts when one is a shy timid loser. Especially when this bad stuff is only in one's head. I know that because these things are in my head too. It's just hard to adapt and try giving myself a chance to develop my full potential as human being. Getting by as mere biological automaton processing information just does not cut it.
