Considering what we learned in "The Storm" (season 1 episode 12) about Zuko's past and his mother, I would say she wasn't a selfish cunt, and actually gave a damn about her children. Too long to list, but in The Search especially, it's like he's learned nothing from his dealings with Azula and he's still gullible as fuck. Like I said though, him being kind of a loser is pretty true to the show where even in moments where he's supposed to be awesome, the writing still finds a way to undercut him somehow. I found it even funnier that they continued this tradition into The Legend Of Korra, where Zuko shows up with this cool-looking dragon and then both of them end up getting BTFO in seconds by a couple of secondary antagonists that later got defeated by the resident clowns of the show.

Yeah, I'm surprised Asami isn't more wary of Korra's cheating slut ways. You'd think she'd know first-hand what Korra is like, but seeing as she got amnesia in season three regarding Korra's bitchy behavior towards her…

She shows up in one more comic where she goes back to her evil ways, recruits some kind of child-kidnapping cult and tries to influence Zuko into becoming a dictatorial tyrant. End of the story, she succeeds in her goal, kicks Zuko's ass in a fight (she also somehow fucking learns to redirect lightning while hanging out in isolated exile in a spirit forest, because she wasn't enough of a Villain Sue before) and then escapes, never to be seen again. It's probably the worst fucking one of the lot.
