Though rebel may not be great with Marxist theory (he's basically a market socialist but wont admit it), he at least knows enough that workers control the means of production aha. Clearly Sargon just dosnt listen, or another theory I have is that he's not really as dumb or wants to be as intellectually dishonest as he is, but he is scared of upsetting his viewer base. If he keeps sprouting the memes the alt-right do, he knows he will stay in their favour. If he adds some nuance, he risks loosing his job.

It's difficult for me to make arguments without the amount I've read being bought up, I'm really not.

Rebel is more well read than me, yes, but I have had specific conversations with him where he has told me that no deductions should be made from proceeds of labour by workers under Socialism, and then called me a tankie for saying it should and that we need to make sure they aren't keeping it for themselves to buy luxuries. I dont just make random claims like that when I have nothing to base it on.

1) There's no prefab anti-communist talking point against worker ownership of the means of production, but there's plenty of arguments against state control of the economy. If you're just regurgitating right-wing talking points it's advantageous to simply ignore any facts about socialist and Marxist ideology that runs counter to that narrative.

2) A lot of right-wing propaganda is founded on insincere populist demagoguery. It's easy to play the populist against the big, bad monolithic state (even if all you're doing is cutting welfare and taxes for the wealthy). It's much harder to play the populist against workers' control, because its always going to boil down to "we need bosses because the masses are too stupid to handle their own affairs, they need to be put on a short leash". Once again, in order to maintain your position as the populist without giving up your right-wing views, you'll typically need to make it about the state again.

Overall, the very concept of workers' control of the means of production just runs so counter to the typical right-wing narrative that they simply refuse to accept it and just sort of ignore it. It's kind of like how a delusional person resists direct contradictions to their delusion to maintain it.

He did talk to Rebel. Sargon was full of bs though. Rebel even made a video for him, but Sargon never got back. That's why I miss Rebel though. He was extremely accessible to the normies and made things sound so entertaining.
