I personally believe that anatomically modern humans first appeared in the northeast Africa/west Asia region, in the north being more closely affiliated with "neanderthals" and in the south with archaic African hominins. There was obviously some genetic flow primarily during the wet phases of the Sahara but for the most part the two remained fairly isolated which is why modern Africans have very little Neanderthal DNA and non-Africans have very little archaic African DNA. At some point in time the supposed modern human-neandethal "hybrid" species (really just Homo sapiens sapiens) began spreading into the rest of Eurasia, absorbing more neanderthal-like populations in western Eurasia and more denisovan-like populations in eastern Eurasia, while the modern human-archaic african "hybrid" species remained in Africa.

Although certain parts of my opinion are plastic, the key point is that the idea that non-Africans are "impure" humans is total bullshit, and a blatant attempt at discrediting European superiority while subconsciously promoting African superiority. For a start Africans have large levels of archaic admixture that is constantly ignored by the media and scientists (I wonder why), but more importantly, if the vast majority of humans have Neanderthal DNA, then shouldn't that make Neanderthal DNA an integral part of being "homo sapiens sapiens"? The idea that modern humans are some pure, distinct species that evolved out of nowhere is ridiculous - theoretically whoever the first modern human was, their parents were both archaic hominins. Thus I believe that instead of neanderthal DNA existing in homo sapiens sapiens representing "breeding" or "mixing" between two separate species or subspecies (making modern Eurasians "mixed" to various degrees), I think that humans and neanderthals were inherently "mixed" from conception, making modern Eurasians "pure" homo sapiens sapiens, and sub-Saharan Africans some "pure" other subspecies of homo sapiens.
