Imagine the most merciful interpretation of the events surrounding TRS. That is that Mike Enoch did everything with the best intentions. He started as a libertarian, got redpilled by his audience, had some fun, figured he would make this thing big and then reveal the truth that he was married to a jew when his movement could survive without him. Now, obviously, this was not the case, but for the sake of argument, lets assume it is, because there is a valuable lesson hidden here for anyone trying to start a real movement.
That lesson is to tell the truth. Do not mislead your followers in anyway as to your motives, your beliefs, or your conflicts of interest. If you build power on a lie, no matter how necessary you think it is, you will not hold it with the truth, because it is much harder to hold power than to gain it in the first place. If you cannot pursue one avenue because of the truth, then you need to find another. Once your necessary lie is exposed, and it will be considering what we are up against, everything you have told the truth about gets called into question. You will never regain the faith of those who believed you, and your deception will be a weight that you carry forever. All you have accomplished is to give your enemies the gun they are going to blow your brains out with.
If Mike had told the truth shortly after reading Culture of Critique, he would have lost listeners, and the growth of TRS would have been slower. I do not doubt that at all, but TRS would still grow. More importantly, that growth would be real growth based on the truth. Growth that could not have the rug pulled out from under its feet with a few mouse clicks. Now he has not only damaged his own brand, but the brand of any namefag out there trying to help white people. Think about how the more intelligent of the TRS donors must feel right now. Do you really think they are going to turn around and donate to someone who, for all they know, may very well be married to a Zulu warrior?
Right now, if you have a plan to form a political party, or some movement to create change, what you need to take away from this is to tell the truth from the start. You can frame your beliefs however benefits you best, but they must actually be your beliefs. Should these beliefs hold you back, then you need to find another path to victory. If you don't do this and you decide to take the easy road instead, then you are going to lose years of hard work and struggle in an instant.
