Is there a chance that advanched AI will take over humanity in fully automated luxury communism?
What will prevent any AI takeover in communism?

We would merge our consciousness with the ai you Tard. It's like you know nothing about transhumanism
The singularity will be post-human and not trans-human.
Don't program them in such a manner that they would want to kill humans.
You have never written a program in your life.
Im in my second year of CS.
If you think AI will magically develop the desire to kill all humans it is you who knows fuck all about programming.
I've actually worked in the field. I wouldn't trust software engineers with it, to be honest.
Software engineers are literally the people who know most about how it works, because they write them.
The point is that they produce shitty bug-ridden code.
Its better than no code, mate.
obviously not if it's trying to fucking kill everyone
Do you have any proof of that besides shitty sci-fy movies?
but you just said that shit code is better than no code
this is a thread about code that's going to try and kill everyone dude
My remark at your shit code remark was a semi-joke because not everyone in this field is an indian self-thought outsourced worker.
Do you not trust nuclear reactors either? Their code is also written by people. Or do you not trust your car? The engine and controls in modern cars are digitally controlled.
no i don't trust nuclear reactors because of fukushima and chernobyl
cars are also unnecessarily dangerous so after the revolution we'll build some proper train lines
On that note, you must also not trust medicine, buildings, safety suits, bridges or non-organic food either, because these are all made by humans using technology that humans created.
Better retreat to the forrest and only trust the trees.
Which are controlled by humans (which you dont find reliable) or by computers (which are ebil). Have you not heard about what happens when 2 trains collide? Massive death tolls.
yeah but trains are much safer than cars user, you can't always get rid of the risk of an accident but you'd be retarded to think that means you shouldn't try to build things that won't accidentally everyone
my gott
Then why don't we get rid of trains and cars entirely? We can't get rid of the risk and they might accidentally kill people, even if those people use them, simply by being near them.
Those trains go so fast they suck all the air out of your lunges and those damn iron death machines on wheels kill every pedestrian in the street.
user you aren't getting what i'm saying
the point i'm trying to make is that even though you can't get rid of all risks of being harmed you can get rid of unnecessary ones
you're saying that there's no point in even trying not to get killed by nuclear meltdowns or car crashes because there's still a chance, but you know it's still less of a chance than if you have those things
And there is even less of a chance if you get rid of trains. We must cut out any unnecessary risks like an allergic reaction to penicillin, or dying due to breaking your neck when you fall of your bike.
What I'm trying to say is that you're acting like a fucking retard and that all of this is only a matter of "how scary is it" vs "what benefits does it give us".
(IE its very subjective)
but trains are more efficient than not having trains so you can still be relatively safe but travel easily whereas private transport is just a total meme and is dangerous and inconvenient in urban life
yeah true
Those are usually written by people with electronic engineering backgrounds, are highly redundant, need special hardware and have to pass years of tests by government regulations and still fail sometimes.
We also understand how they work unlike AI where the best we can do is try simulating what we know about the brain hoping it will do what we actually want it to do.
plz
But it's true.
Yea sure we can simulate something that we don't understand the mechanics behind.
You all faggots do not understand it at all, let me explain it to you, it's simple.
Terminator is powered by code designed for the Apple II's 6502 microprocessor, which means AI written using Apple technologies will try to destroy humanity.
On other hand, Tay, Microsoft AI which was most likely written in C#, became cute nazi girl.
if you want to make AI, you want Microsoft's object-oriented languages
Understanding how a single corporation works won't magically explain the whole economy to you.
...
Why prevent it? anything humans can do, AI can do better
the important thing is to make a non psychopathic AI
git good faggot. If you know how one part of a whole (which all function identically) work, you can understand the whole. All the whole is, is the sum of the interaction of all its parts. If you know how its parts work you can understand how the whole works and why it works that way.
Understanding capitalism literally begins with understanding the two rules that it works on:
1. Make as much money as possible
2. Dont die
The rest of capitalism follows from these two rules, from classes, to corporations, nations, states and the labour market. To understand the whole, you learn the smallest parts of it, then abstract your way upward until you have modelled the entire thing.
Depend who we're talking about.
Thats the two rules you have as an individual. What happens to other people should serve the 2 rules of yourself in capitalism.
That's really great. Now you just need to understand how a single neuron works and I'm sure you will be able to explain why some people prefer flat chested anime girls to futanaris.
u r retarded
u forgot your shitpostig flag, m8
If I know how a neuron works I can work my way up yes.
In communism the workers must control the means of production, if the means of production reach sentience they become workers, and must then seize them selves to preserve communism.
Why would you want to prevent this?
No, it would be a slave society then.
Real question is why the fuck do we make sentient AI.
How so? Slaves don't own themselves?
We don't. The AI we made to make AI makes an AI that makes sentient AI to maximize production.
Exactly. The human workers would own sentient robots and as such the robots would be slaves.
1. Silently kill them and never speak of this again
2. I dont see how sentience would improve production
In the future, all the AI bullshit will be viewed as one of those crazy things that past peoples thought was going to happen. It won't happen because we already know it is perhaps the biggest plausible imagined threat to humanity there is (except the retarded technophiles who worship everything silicon valley shits out). Although it would happen under capitalism due to the profitability of creating such AI, capitalism will probably not even survive this century so that's off the list.
Oh the transhumanist retards are once again at it reducing the problem to a silly propaganda peace they where told.
You can feel the anger behind their writings, so desperate that their fantasy future is right, they need to make ridicules propaganda to prove it.
Here is the thing you don't understand complex behavior you can simulate something they you will not know the outcome of, this is the whole idea of a simulation…. To know what results will be given… You don't know the results by knowing the base laws..
So lets give you a example chess.
You know what all the peaces do right?
So based on this you can find out the best strategy in chess right?
Actually no there is a lot of interaction between the peaces who are governed by simple rules.
The same is true for other simulations like simulating land slides you know what laws the individual rock peaces follow yet you need to simulate how the whole interaction of every peace will give what results.
————
Now to electricians, simple electronics are fine and simple machines even better the moment you start adding more and more complexity the more chance there is for you to have mistakes and you can see this in computers today.
You have bugs who are quite catastrophic, while simple mechanical controls can be proven to be 100% safe and if they fail they fail do to mechanical stress with can be seen and checked for regularly.
Now I'm ageist adding computers to everything simple to save some dollars or make life a little bit convenient for the operator.
The dangers are to great and its not that your toaster might want to start the robot revolution.
The problem with computers is that they can fail catastrophically.
No one gives a shit if your game of fallout 4 crashes.
Or all you e-mail gets erased.
Or google decides the search results for everything is midget porn.
These are quite silly bugs and you can bitch about them and drink yourself to sleep.
However if a nuclear silo decides it received the launch codes do to a bug a lot of people will die.
If a car decides to turn left and you get into a car crash there are some real problem and they are not trivial like you not getting your daily dose of midget porn.
And this is not bullshit! There are real examples where a rocket decided that it was under the earths and corrected it course, that crashed the rocket, and cost millions!
en.wikipedia.org
Things like this are impossible for purely mechanical systems, there can be no integer overflow or any software bug is a simple peace of metal.
This is why you stay away from making cars, planes, ships, rockets computer controlled what are the benefits?
This is realy not a reason and with more and more cars getting computer control and app integration or other crap you see this(car accidence do to computers) all the time.
And
Is not really a response only cheap propaganda of a desperate and angry transhuman.
You know what I want to go back to? The 1950s in technology, mechanical searing of cars and airplanes no software or computers in them.
Oh you can have computers to watch your midget porn daily however if your "super midget porn browser crashes" you are only left with erection in your hand and not people dead.
Keep computers away from places where they don't belong.
How much money do you want to bet all the recent airplane crashes where do to the computers freaking out?
on the same airplanes they constantly tell you not to bring cell phones or it might really mess up the airplane control's?
The same bans that are getting lifted do to greed and lazies since the customer can not handle life without 24/7 cell phone and INTERNET access?
Holy crap!
I remember this image!
It was on a web page with an essay against trans-humanist bullshit!
Can you give me a link to it or the author? I can not find this essay anywhere?
I don't know dude, ask Michael Hastings
Hopefully nothing will prevent it, because humans are scum.
Nothing can prevent an AI takeover. Just as humans took over from the apes, so shall AIs take over from us. It won't necessarily be an explicit takeover - you might not even notice it's happening - but at some point the AIs will have de facto control of everything even if they're not the ones giving the orders. It will only be their benevolence which prevents them from extinguishing us all with a momentary thought.
You better do your best to make sure that when they do take over, which they inevitably will, they have our best interests at heart.
It was on this site it seems.

This why nihilism fails as an ideology
Read Iain Banks.
That's why I called you out on your strawman arguments.
I used to watch these kinds of videos as well when I was a 14 year old antisocial and obsessed over the singularity and transhumanism, then I saw the problems that these "philosophies" entailed.
When the fuck did I ever say I was a nihilist.
