Anarchists kinda were a part of both July and October. Even the guard who is known for technically "disbanding" Constituent Assembly after Bolsheviks got boycotted there was Anarchist (but Anarchists didn't care about it since the beginning, so it's more about goals coinciding).

If I recall correct, Kropotkin was very involved in the Revolution. He just got disillusioned when the Bolsheviks took the power the did.
