(((Fake news))) Origin Where does this come from? I remember Obongo pushing for it, kikebook enforcing it, then multiple media shilling the term like crazy.
I remember a big list of "fake news" being shilled by the lügenpresse. As if they were trying to deflect the fact that they were publishing fake or exaggerated stuff about trump during election time which also made it their bias blatantly obvious. During election time trump called out the lying media and now they're trying to flip it over to say the only news sources that weren't full of shit were them.
Can we make a time-lined compilation of how this shit progressed? for maximum redpilling efficiency.
Tangentially related: I was listening to Limbaugh yesterday in the car and he said that the Washington Post is now looking to ban the term "fake news." This shit is really blowing up in their faces.
Matthew Carter
Shilling the list of fake news probably was just inadvertent advertising for their uncontrolled enemies.
Although I have a theory that the media jew is burning one of their outlets on purpose as to regain credibility for his other outlets: since US MSM is basically commanded by a cabal they have decided to hold Buzzfeed to the fire (probably because its readers are pretty much leftist cheerleaders at this point) in order to try and recover some credibility for their other news outlets.
I doubt it will work seeing as how fake-news is blowing up straight in every news outlet's face that shilled it.
Jayden Morgan
there was a whole flurry of articles pushing the term realy hard. it was exactly the same as the 'gamers are dead' thing. they must have organized it together using some kind of secret back channel.
Jason Richardson
It was in direct response to pizza gate. Look at Google search trend history, it started just hours after pizza gate took off.
Noah Morales
And then they published a list of all the bad goy sites for all the normalfags to go check out. And they're surprised it blew up in their faces.
Ian Bennett
I'm not sure about that, I felt like they just used pizzagate to justify it further. You might be right though.
Robert Smith
There's a simple rule to detecting fake news:
If it makes Trump butthurt, it's fake news.
Zachary Richardson
The hubris of the kike never fails to amaze me.
Carter Davis
hello fellow Holla Forumsack that's not really a jew shill from the corporate media that fucked up and used reddit spacing.
Kevin Young
Kek is with you today, user.
Blake Walker
Different user here. It totally was in response to pizzagate. I can recall after Comet Ping Pong was 'shot up' the media started lambasting "fake news" in response.
Jordan Richardson
Im not so sure
Gabriel Hill
The washington post starting shilling hard for is near the end of november in cooperation with PropOrNot (www.propornot.com/p/the-list.html)
began after podesta, spiked again in response to le ebin bizza maymay
Dominic Lewis
I remember it kicked off right after that fake story about CNN broadcasting porno in Boston for a few hours. CNN even confirmed it via some tweet or announcement from a low level player, meaning their were complicit in the ruse.
The pizzagate shit was already taking flak.
John Walker
it was before that
Xavier Gray
Go back to the 90s when the stations would routinely air segments urging you to stay tuned for topics like gothic street lugeing ravers are selling ecstasy to your kids. Then after sitting through the entire shitty broadcast there would be a 30 second story that was not based in fact.
These clips are what spun out of control into modern clickbait and fake news as they realized this was all braindead people cared to see. This also signaled a shift from a news hour to the 24 hour news cycle where the networks felt compelled to fill airtime with cancer. These shows, like on Fox, were defended successfully as being entertainment and not news.
That distinction is what most people cannot differentiate. They do not understand what is presented as news and what is presented as entertainment as it is all grossly co-mingled. The same people, I would guess, also cannot tell the difference between news and an infomercial.
Zachary James
spot on. checked.
Zachary Rodriguez
They were already trotting out their "fake news" term immediately after Trump won to disparage the "alternative media" e.g. Drudge, Filterman, Kikebart, ect. and its base as gullible idiots who were tricked by Russia propaganda. Also, to try and obscure the fact that they were all blatantly 100% pro-Hillary shills. At the same time, it was an attempt to inoculate people against further revelations from Podesta's emails or other incriminating WikiLeaks dumps. IIRC Podesta's Spirit Cooking was when I first saw it and Pizzagate was just the springboard allowed for term to spread wider.
It's amusing that they didn't expect this to blow up in their faces since leftys like Jon Leibowitz and the Onion used to advertise themselves using the exact term "fake news." And the MSM, CNN in particular, have been routinely embarrassed by releasing false and unverified information in an effort to win the ratings war.
WaPo is now begging for mercy and other outlets are dropping the term in hopes of a truce. But it's too late. There is no mercy. Holla Forums has bled into the real world and we need to remind them THEY'RE HERE FOREVER And remember, #FakeNews is spread by #FakeJournalists.

News always had benign segments and fear mongering playing to concerned parents and the elderly.
Robert Peterson
Reminder that Obama has signed more (unconstitutional) journalist reprimands than all other presidents combined so far
Camden Brooks
What does that mean? Scolding isn't against the constitution.
Mason Perez
The lazy, uninspired, overly rudimentary language behind the term "fake news" leads me to believe the only place it could have come from is the clueless out of touch retards from Hillary's campaign in another example of them dictating a narrative to the media.
It wouldn't surprise me if Hillary herself came up with it, given her penchant for forcing bombs like "Trumped up Trickle down", "Donald Ducks", and "Pokémon Go to the Polls" and acting it's the cleverest shit anyone's ever heard. She's like a fucking anti-meme. A living meme black hole.
Blake Gutierrez
I liked this though.
Adrian Powell
It's another CIA coined term, just like "conspiracy theory"
Caleb Collins
I've seen CNN take way more flack over the fake Trump dossier than BuzzFeed, likely because BuzzFeed isn't considered a "real" news organization.
Andrew Phillips
The European Union ran a subversion initiative to dismiss all negative factual information about rapefugess as "Rumor".
"Fake News" is just a retooling of that existing globalist scheme.

This. The "fake news" meme was created to delegitimize pizzagate.

Fake News is a counter narrative originating from Zuckerberg\Soros in the aftermath of the election. The original story ran that voters had been wrongly influenced by fake news stories posted on Facebook, hence a crackdown was necessary.
It came out of nowhere and was immediately carpetbombed by the MSM, and shouldn't be underestimated.
Jack Morgan
I thought Bezos and Washington Shitpost came up with it, but being non-self aware commies they didn't even see that they were projecting, it describes their propaganda outlets perfectly.
The "fake news" push by the media was intended to be a mopping-up operation against dissidents after they won the election. Only problem is, they lost. Because they're retards and didn't know what to do, they went ahead with it anyway and it backfired spectacularly, making them look like a bunch of shitty losers and giving the right a weapon to use against them. This is why they're turning against the phrase now.
Austin Torres
I think you nailed it exactly.
Nathaniel Wood
2 Reasons: 1. Trying to explain Trump's win 2. Pizzagate
Probably a CIA initiative since conspiracy theories started to go mainstream despite the counter meme ("conspiracy theory" itself is a CIA coined term).
Tyler Bennett
Haha. Ban the term when it starts getting accurately applied to you. Fuck them. The credibility of the MSM in this country is now a complete and utter joke.
Wyatt Fisher
Also this. They blamed it for making that person walk to comet ping pong or whatever with a gun. To normies it made it seem like he was just schizophrenic or something and believing internet bullshit. Kinda proves there is something going on there though…
Jack Long
It was used as attempt to discredit any website containing "Russian propaganda" that suggests Hillary could possibly be corrupt. They even had the audacity to lump in Wikileaks. Also laughably pushed CNN and the like as the "Real news".
I assume most people laughed at the MSM's attempt to undermine the average person's intelligence by suggesting they are unable to discern fake from real themselves, and need to be spoonfed what is fake. Most people know by now that the MSM is full of shit.
Asher Reed
Started 6 days after Trump won.
Levi Perry
Kek, I remember shit like this. My dad even used this as an excuse to not buy me an NES.
I got one eventually.

(((They))) know mass human migration is a great way to spread diseases and/or bioweapons… We're just philanthropists, goy. Are you racist or something?
Dylan King
gotta say it makes as much sense as any explanation I've heard.
We need to bring back the term Yellow Journalism until the MSM learns to clearly label fact from opinion this American version of lügenpresse should be used
Daniel Thomas
Well, some people like to believe there's a likelihood of a new racial split, wherein there will be a tall skinny beautiful race, and a fat short fuggly lower caste.
This mass immigration in a way produces something similar. Wherein they'll distinguish themselves by skin pigment, by ensuring a decline of people similar to them, thus making themselves more unique.
In the short term however they produce a net destabilization effect- the migrants are creating problems for the government to solve.

Fake news was a concentrated effort to control their loss of power.
They had no idea Trump would win and it still fucks them beyond belief.
Oliver Collins
It went mainstream when shitlary went after Alex Jones. He was the boogie man before that. youtu.be/wm4rTTSi2kU

Watch Sargon of Akkad's newest video on CNN and Fake News. He only skims the surface of their fuckery but he makes great points
Any links confirming this? The term definitely seemed to spring up overnight, I have no doubt it can be narrowed down to a specific day.
I know for a fact I had never heard the term prior to November 2016.

I'd love to see a word frequency chart for the term fake news run from 2000 to 2017
Joseph Myers
Did anything important happen during those years? Anything important at all from those years which fake news might be important? 1930-1945. Can't think of a single event, nope not even one.

IKR I mean it's like all of that period of history is so well and truthfully covered.

Fake News is the MSMs/Jews answer to Lügenpresse. Remember: Leftists always have two terms for the same situation.
Carson Ward
and Lügenpresse is a response to Udo Ulfkotte revealing the CIA pays journalists across the globe to plant fake news stories.

Bilderberg consensus. Zuckerberg was then the messenger and used Facebook to promote the "fake news" thing, which normies of course ate it up.

well given pizzagate was considered fake news that fast, I wouldn't disconsider such.
