On a given day she probably thinks, "ooh, I want hip new director to be hip!" Then a day later she gets the director in, he starts acting like he has an opinion and she decides she hates him and fires him.

This and also because the goal of nuWars is to not be like the prequel trilogy and one way to do it is to hire young people. Funny thing though, the directors that she has hired so far have all made remakes of existing IPs (JJ did the Trek reboot, Edwards made Gozilla, the duo who got fired did the 21 Jump Street movie and Trevorrow did the Jurassic Park remake).

Depends. Studio stooges can be loyal to Disney, and not her. Kennedy wants total control over Star Wars. Also it would look even worse if a big named stooge is kicked out instead of some nobody, as we know the director/stooge is there to look good and not actually direct.
