The coastal portion is republican. I'm on the coast and my county voted 83% Trump. The coast is fishermen and loggers. I'd be willing to wager that if you took everyone's hobbyist guns you could forge them into a building the size of the empire state. Seattle is a few miles inland, if the 15-20 miles of the coast were lost the state would become almost entirely poz'd save for the half on the other side of the mountains.
