Animation barely looks… animated. Voice is terrible but an improvement from Drake Bell. Artstyle is horrendous and cheap. The mere prospect that Miles and Gwen will show up only to most likely upstage Spidey is nauseating to me. (((Disney))) isn't even trying anymore.

DC has ongoing talks with Netflix about things after Young Justice and they're also creating their own streaming service. The service only has 1 thing announced for it, so far; the live-action Titans tv series, so padding it with JLA S2 would make sense.

I don't know if it's meant to be an on-demand service or a 24/7 stream like Adult Swim has running.

Either way, the sensible choice would be to put up every animated series that isn't currently running, so everything up to Young Justice S1, then add 10 minute interviews with staff between episodes, or migrate all of their YouTube content over. Maybe license the CW shows and other live-actions they've got. I'd kill a man for some touched up versions of Swamp Thing or The Flash from the 90s.

Compared to the third a fourth seasons of Ultimate, Agents of Smash, Avengers Assemble and GOTG, this show's animation is a godsend.

I still think the first two seasons of Ultimate had good animation (good, not great) but then Marvel decided to be cheap dicks and hire a shitty animation studio to handle animation for all their shows.

I'd agree but that show had too much censorship problems. I liked the drawstyle the most though. Way better than Sensational Scot Pillgrim in that regard. At least they drew the characters the way they did so they could be animated in a more fluid way and it seemed to work. I haven't watched any other Spiderman series.

I saw a couple episodes (or rather, shorts) of this and good god is it garbage. Animation quality is shit (I thought Disney were supposed to be good at animating), it's got that faux-animu style that everyone. The writing is garbage and the acting is not much better.

Well technically Marvel's TV animation operation predates the buyout, so if anything, blame them how they aren't making the most out of industry standards. Disney proper outsources in this arena too, but they seem to have better quality control than Marvel. They even had couple of satellite studios in the 90s.

They shut down their conventional animation studios and pronounce the death of 2D animation every few years. Then when it doesn't die they start over from scratch, realise none of the old masters will work for them because Disney already screwed them, and end up farming their shit out to child slaves in a sweatshop in some third world country like Australia.
