Up until the early 2000s, the black population of my home town was at a steady 3. Not three percent - three! OP here, and 35 years of age, so maybe that's old enough to remember as well. It feels like there were the same amount of niggers but they stayed on there part of town. What southerners liked to call "boogerville", while uptown was almost exclusively white.
