Who's afraid of Donald Trump? | Boris Kagarlitsky

"Clinton’s policy is a classic example of splitting society into several interest groups, preventing horizontal integration. It is no coincidence that the crisis of the West’s labor movement and class politics is happening together with the celebration of multiculturalism and political correctness. And the spread of political correctness, in turn, historically coincides with the "financialization" of the economy, in other words a massive redistribution of resources in favor of the banking sector."

no shit.
Diversity and inclusion are just smoke screens created by capitalism to placate liberal morons who are convinced the american dream is real when they will never be able to afford a home and live in massive debt.
But hey, there are more nigs in star trek war rings of thrones

What an absolutely disgusting animal.

You can however avoid this by becoming carpenter, construction worker, welder, working in a shop, hairdresser, etc or attaining any commong job.

how will becoming a carpenter stop me from being a liberal moron

IIRC, demographic studies have been done already and most of Trump's voters aren't financially troubled, they just hate foreigners and Muslims or have investments in domestic companies that they make bank on.

Trump is for local porkies, Clinton is for foreign porkies and the US labor movement is up shit creek with no paddle.

It won't, but you will live a comfortable life, provided you are save just a small amount of what you earn. This dystopian rat-race you warn about is almost exclusively experienced by people who are extremely impulsive in their spending.

This really only the problem of the self-destructive, communism won't make those people go away.

gee, somebody ought to tell all those starving African children that they should stop buying all that crap that they don't need off amazon

Reagan's race-baiting bullshit (muh welfare queens, muh reverse racism) is where this crisis begins, with the dismantling of the Great Society programs, aggressive anti-Union action, etc.
On the other hand, the high point of labor power (60s through early 70s) was also the high point of civil right's activism and militancy.

So, no.

Plus, this bit here

Literally hiring people to go out into the desert and dig holes will create jobs.
This is the sort of shit that is only supposed to exist only in the fevered dreams of ayncraps imaging how stupid liberals are.

Did you even read the article? The local porkies create jobs here, the working class stands to benefit from their projects. Clinton-type porkies only benefit the investor class, aside from their condo renovations we have nothing to gain from their wealth.

I'd like to see that study, what did it mean by financially troubled? I'm sure that Clinton supporters are poorer since Blacks and Latinos are behind her, but if we acknowledge that "financially troubled" means more than below the poverty line (i.e. 90% of the population vs. 15%), you'd see plenty of financially troubled Trump supporters. Go to any troubled suburb or rural area and you see Trump signs all over the place.

It has existed since the WPA, the government hires people to dig holes in the desert (with bombs) and politicians fight tooth and nail against any cuts because that would mean factories in their districts shutting down. Its a stupid system but its a way to operate within it.

They don't live in the United States of America, the place you were bitching about. Get off you computer and cool off, you are not thinking orderly. Your political ideologie should be informed by something other than some angry fantasy you just happened to have.

WOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOO LIBERAL DETECTED

Go jerk off to a Mike Rowe speech. There are lines around the block to join the carpentry or other construction unions. The non-union jobs are low paid and very irregular, construction workers tend to be on unemployment at least half the year. Seriously? Hairdresser? Unless you are incredibly skilled you'll struggle to hit minimum wage unless you got the money to open your own salon.

Welding is a different story depending on where you live, however its next to impossible to become a welder because no one is willing to train them. This has created a cottage industry of welding schools that are expensive and largely bullshit and people still have a hard time getting hired afterwards.

The WPA built highways, buildings, dams, etc. It produced actually useful public structures.

The wall, as the article admits, is useless.

JAWB CREATIN is a retarded myth. Demand creates supply, not the other way around, in spite of an endless battery of post-Reagan brainwashing. The people who CREAYT JAWBS in the US are no less exploitative than then ones that create them in China; most Americans are fucked either way, because it's political suicide to make getting work outright impossible in your own country. The neoliberals know how to keep the status quo going.

Like Clinton and minorities, being white was overwhelmingly the strongest factor in whether someone might support Trump. He is popular even with people that have no stake in the outsourcing of labor and even with some people that would lose money from it.

Idpol is the main, decisive factor in modern US politics, end of story.

Aside from the fact that that's not true, it wouldn't help considering that our modern economy is based upon excessive spending and debt, not saving. American consumerism drives global consumption and productive supply chains, and without it a shitload of secondary and tertiary industries would contract massively.

Lots of younger folks are currently crushed with debt and are thus buckling down, renting and spending very little while trying to pay rents and loans. The response to this is a flood of articles by economists and pundits complaining that 'millenials' aren't buying homes, cars, clothes, diamonds, etc. and are thus not contributing to the maintenance of our capitalist excess.

porque?
