CloverOS mentioned at Gentoo FOSDEM

It's a Gentoo image that has PORTAGE_BINHOST="cloveros.ga" in the /etc/portage/make.conf and packages built with CFLAGS="-Ofast -mmmx -mssse3 -pipe -funroll-loops -flto=8 -floop-block -floop-interchange -floop-strip-mine -ftree-loop-distribution" Gentoo is hands down the best Linux distro and CloverOS only makes this perfection easier to achieve.

Wow, stock Gentoo with twm installed is 100% worth making 'another' distro.
Now even brainlets like me who are too dumb to install, let alone maintain, Gentoo can post cool screenfetch images!

During the install you get to choose what WM or DE? you want.

Must be a new feature, I don't recall. Window Maker and twm are the only good choices anyway.

The original started before Holla Forums existed. The current incarnation was started by someone who post both here and on /g/ and if I remember correctly owns Holla Forums /g/ or had it at some point.

It's been a feature for a while. The last time I tried it was last summer.

I'm busy today, but then I'll revive the old CloverOS install script I had (gives install choices/selections/additional packages and sheit) and actually test it.

this tbh fam, it's real good shit. Too bad I never got any gentoo-based livecd to ever boot. I still use the cloveros setup on a normal gentoo box. Gentoo is the only stable os out there, and with the clover.ga binhost, the complaints about muh compile times, the only downside of gentoo, is moot.
