Classic Spongebob Thread

What were the best Seasons 1-3 episodes? What are your top 10?

Survival of the Dumbest
Chocolate with Nuts
Rock Bottom
No Weenies Allowed
The episode Patrick goes to School with Spongebob
These are my top five

It's Survival of the Idiots, not Survival of the Dumbest. I mean this in the nicest of ways. But there's a word for what you are, and that word is… now, let's see…

Shanghaied is my favorite.

Don't do ellipses you fucking autistic faggot. This isn't tumblr.

Help Wanted, Rock Bottom, Arrgh! and Ripped Pants are my personal favorites.

A RETARD

Beep Boop Boo Boo Bap?

In no particular order

on a side note, I can't get over how fucking quotable this show was. I haven't watched most of these episodes in years and I can still remember most of the iconic jokes.

Have you never watched fast food frycook's make a burger before?

Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost is incredibly underrated.

Just one of those rare shows that gets better with age. If only it had ended with the movie. Now the bad outweighs the good.

These are all great episodes, but I can't help but bring up the first Christmas special, "Christmas Who?" Besides honestly being one of the best Christmas specials I've ever seen, even being downright heartwarming sometimes, I strongly believe it's one of the funniest episodes in the whole series. I don't think there was a single joke that failed to hit the mark. I kekked at it as a kid to the point of nearly wetting my pants, and I still sometimes feel that way rewatching it. That's the kind of comedic magic that can only be described as lightning in a bottle, if you ask me.

Top 10 but not in any order:
Band Geeks
Chocolate with Nuts
No Free Rides
Idiot Box
The Camping Episode
Secret Box
Dying for Pie
Jellyfish Hunter
Graveyard Shift
Nasty Patty

And they got this exploitable image

hi Patchy

...

when will people admit that season 3 started showing the signs of decline, with more annoying stupid characters and overly grotesque gags (cleats in the eyes anyone?)

I agree, its like people who refuse to admit that season 7 of the Simpsons was the last good season just because season 8 and 9 had about a handful of memorable jokes or scenes between them that barely outweighed the declining material.

Bodyguard please

the cleats scene wasn't even that graphic at all. If modern SpongeBob had done that scene, his eyes would have been ripped out of his head and stuck on the spikes when he pulled the cleats out.

Mr. Enter, pls

That Strike episode (Squid on Strike) is Season 2.

Hell, Season 1 had I Was A Teenage Snail and Scaredy Pants for god's sake.

Squidward is class conscious AF

...

Why do they have to had Squid suffer?

Initially it was because it was mostly because of his own arrogance and self-inflicted pain.

Later on it was because the writers were hacks.

Those two episodes are completely unrelated.

"When your great grandchildren find your death will"

Yet it speaks volumes for his character.
Honestly, upon retrospect, he is the perfect culmination of everything loathed about "that guy". He's like the pre-modern to Wojak, adversary to SpongeBob, the self-satisfied frycook who takes life's struggles with greatness.

REMEMBER: NO EMPLOYEE WANTS TO BE A SQUIDWARD

You've got a point, user. He is pretty liberal. So much so that in Squid on Strike, he immediately decided to abandon his socialist rhetoric and beg Mr. Krabs for his job back just because he didn't want to potentially strike with Spongebob "forever". Only liberals are that cucktastically weak in ideology that they'll go straight back to bootlicking for Porky just so things can be more comfortable for them personally.

Yes, this is Holla Forums, everyone. And we hate liberals just as much as you do. They're apologists for capitalism, they're ridden to the core with identity politics, and they act like such fucking normalfags.

Spongebob is fucking shit and I hate people who like it
