I'm reading the Stalag edition simply because it's the only authorized translation. Written by a nazi party member I believe.
It doesn't hurt reading both.
Also the Stalag edition is the only official English one, but that doesn't mean it was produced under ideal conditions. The only real Mein Kampf is in German so if you're reading a translation, why not go for the Ford one? I'm not shilling for a paid version, it's even on youtube I believe.
If anyone knows of any discrepancy, please let me know. AFAIK the Ford translation is accurate and not altered. It would be in everyone's interest if you know of any fault with it.

The Stalag translation isn't posted at least but it's objectivley shit compared to the Ford translation. He even wrote an entire separate book to explain the issues with the other translations called "Mein Kampf: A Translation Controversy". The Stalag translation is a low-effort literal translation that fails to translate grammar, cultural references and other nuances. Ford's translation does an excellent job making Hitler's words clear and articulate, it's fucking fantastic.

I thought the prison edition was the best?
Manheim edition is the best version out there, is the going consensus. NONE of the translations are going to be as good as the German and NONE of them were ever authorized by National Socialists Germany. The Stalag edition has it's own problems, but the story behind it is that it was written by an unknown German solider in a prison camp to give to British POWs.
I have read the Manheim edition it is considered a "scholarly" type book, with footnotes of what is being talked about and some of the actual German left in the footnotes as well, so you see the literal German that was used.
I would recommend you read ALL of them then decided which was the best to determine the best translation, other than that, learn German.
