I was analyzing Twitter for election results before most "analysts" probably realized it was even possible. I didn't use any fancy ML algorithms for results, I simply gauged the popularity by the number of times each candidate's name was mentioned per hour and let it run indefinitely. There wasn't a single hour where Trump wasn't in the lead by 2-3x. That alone isn't enough to make any serious predictions but it sure was a good indicator of energy levels.

Not everyone who mentions Trump does so in a positive light.
