And include a well written letter about your safety concerns and that you are CCing the fire marshal because you are extra concerned about safety.

Black cherry has been gone for a while- i think they finally shut down or sold the place in 2013 or 2014 and its been abandoned ever since.

I know the people behind it, though. The trust fund kid who ran it associates with the local green party.
Nowadays, that crowd of people run a community squat garden on Collingwood blvd, which is an eyesore, but not exactly a fire hazard.
A lot of the green party / local activist infrastructure operate out of the Collingwood Arts Center, which is across the street from the community garden.
That building is an old historical convent that became an artists' space in the 80s and ended its residence program in 2013 due to structural problems. A whole wing of the building was permanently off limits due to holes in the ceiling. Radiators in the building had blown up and the place has experienced flooding.
Since the artists were kicked out and the green party moved in, they've attempted to fix up the place, but AFAIK the roof is fucked and would be prohibitively expensive to fix.

Noticed that the main carpet in the building had a giant star of david on it.
Kept coming across an artist being mentioned frequently and who puts echoes into his (stage?)name: Max (((Ohr)))
Not surprisingly, he was either not present during the fire or miraculously survived. A quick look on his webpage (maxohr.com) confirms this, as he has managed to sneak inside the remains of the Ghost Ship to take photographs.
Looking through other areas of his website also confirms him for a kike, just check out the Sculptures page. A fractal star of david carved in bronze. And here's what spooked me out the most: A wooden menorah with this written as a comment "Formally reminiscent of the burning bush and the ark grounded above water. "

I've spent a few hours tracking the venue DoDIY listed for my home city (medium sized college town). I have an address (it's gotten some backpage attention from local arts columnists a few times), but I can't tell if it's still in operation. All the chatter and lineups abruptly stop around the beginning of the semester. Other than physically snooping around the area, what can I do in terms of hunting it down? I'm pretty sure the outfit running it has already changed their name and location at least once in the past and I suspect they may have done so again recently.
