We know the culprits and what to blame, what I want to know is how women are so easily convinced. Is it the herd mentality on combination with TV, magazines and the internet painting a biased view? One thing that is true, is that women are not happy with how things are. Meaningless sex, single room apartments and loneliness is not what they want. I don't think it is one thing. Modern urbanization might play a factor. Too many distractions get in the way of starting a family, soft living and luxury make some people weak and decadent. Too much focus on accruing debt in order to finance largely worthless tertiary education. Too much emphasis on intellectual and academic prestige and careers centered around service or parasitism, not enough focus and prestige given to primary production (agriculture, mining) and manufacturing/development.

People tend to marry younger in rural and country areas, on average. Doesn't mean they're immune to the poz, just that the poz takes longer to effect the relatively insulated cultures of these areas.

Change will come, one way or another. If tough times are ahead, the pozzed individualists (identity focused, might be a better term) will eat each other, those with strong community or familial bonds, or the old-school rugged individualists, stand a much better chance of weathering future hardship.
