We actually can review how CPUs work. What you do is write a comprehensive test suite of software that goes through even single documented function. You should be able to predict the outcome of every single function. The test suite you write should match your predicted outcome.

you know what would make wine a lot better, if they had an exe scanner that runs the exe through a scanner that finds out what types of commands and scripts it does so it can kinda tell you what version to use instead of having to go through like 40 versions to find out which you need. then you should also be able to attach a debugger to find out what software the exe is requesting to use. i dont have time or the nerve to figure all this shit out
