My hosting, the internet, cell phone, and many other companies are informing me that some company has Expedited Discovery subpoenas for my records. I checked them out, they have a John Doe lawsuit claiming malware, identity theft, fake LinkedIn account ==? and the civil tort is Trademark Infringement…?
Through advice and council of a local IP attorney we contacted business to clear up any misunderstandings because no one from my end has ever spread malware, or heard of "Kudelski Security?" It turns out they want a minimum of 35,000 USD from me, and that is just the beginning. They verbally and in an email said they were going to come after my wife, and make my life living hell if I will not pay. I am outright, a foreign company NIL no exaggeration sued, and my family threatened.
Now I have spent 2500 on lawyers and no end in sight. They want to settle and have me sign all this non-disparagement clause, and have all kinds of multipliers if I EVER break it? Like get fucked!
