It's a pretty recent thing, I've noticed. Most older World War I media used to be more about how the war was a total clusterfuck where everyone was an asshole and a hero simultaneously, but I'm guessing the kikes in Hollywood need to reinforce the "le evil German" stereotype at every turn hence even the Great War is now a fight against Nazis. Used to be comics steered clear of World War I for black-and-white morality lessons, guess those fuckers have gotten more brazen now.

After the first volume of Earth One WW left a sour taste in my mouth (I thought it might be a good starting point for the history of Diana, big mistake for me) I was turned off WW and won't bother catching this. Gonna see if the New 52 version of WW is better based on good reviews or something else.
