Blazing Saddles was very pro-black, and extremely unPC. White people called the black hero a nigger, he openly declared his love for white women, and even had to fight off the clan.

To me, these scenes play on that fine line between legitimate rape and the female playing hard to get. In the first case, the woman (village whore) is obviously enjoying the action (doesn't look threatened or scared at all) and isn't resisting in any way, but proceeds to try and shoot him later in the movie.
In the second case, the woman is horrified at what he's proposing but the scene afterwards shows her being legitimately affectionate with the man and confesses to the man that her husband is a complete pussy.

Either way it's a pretty damn good movie and Clint oozes masculinity - something the male lead in most movies nowadays lacks completely.
