And, just to give anons a list of what to expect this week, on DC Rebirth:

Aquaman #22

...

THIS SHIT HAD BETTER BE GOOD! I'M PISSED RIGHT NOW.
What the hell am I saying?

...

...

...

...

Bane: Conquest #1 (of 12)

...

...

...

That's a big cover page.

...

...

Batman #22

...

...

...

...

...

Cyborg #12

...

...

...

...

...

Deathstroke #18

...

...

...

...

...

The Fall and Rise of Captain Atom #5 (of 6)

...

...

...

...

...

Green Arrow #22

...

...

...

...

...

Green Lanterns #22

...

Does anyone care about these two fuckers? Where's Hal Jordan? At least the cover art hints at a happy ending.

...

No. Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps is much better. Story, characters, all of it.

Hal's got his own book, Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps. Both GL books are published twice a month, on alternating weeks.

I know that, I was just wondering why we have to have these two rejects instead of more Green lantern corps.

...

...

...

Being the charitable sort, I'm guessing that they stuck the two unpopular newbies together on a duo book to see if they could actually make something out of them, while also giving the fans what they actually want with the GLC book.

So far, I've found Simon to be alright, but tend to find Jessica a bit annoying because she gets a lot of obvious favoritism from the writers, both in this book and in others she's appeared in.

Harley Quinn #19

...

...

...

...

...

Justice League #20

...

...

They tried to hook her up with Barry Allen man. BARRY FUCKING ALLEN. Favoritism is a but of a understatement.

...

...

...

The sad part is, I think she's actually got enough going on on her own that she could succeed as a character if they would just stop giving her the mary sue treatment.

Nightwing #20

...

Right? She isn't an entirely bad character. I mean, the initial character was pretty good, but what they turned her into is just fucking boring.

Also I wanna see Guy Gardner fuck her.

...

...

I don't, but only because I think it would be funnier if she somehow ended up with her own power ring.

...

...

Superman #22

...

...

...

...

...

Um who do you think he'll be going against?

And that's all for this week, everyone. Unless Rebirth-user winds up making some sort of miraculous return next week, I should be back at about this same time to storytime everything again.

And finally, allow me to leave you all with a minor spoiler for issue #25 of Superdad, the conclusion of the Black Dawn story arc.

I'm liking the coloring on this. Kind of remindsme of colored pencils for some reason.

Oh, nice. Always wanted more of him.

Well at least they're using more than just the typical villains.

Alright, this week's comics will be coming in about 20 hours or so. To tide you all over until then, here's what to expect this week, on DC Rebirth:

This sounds awesome, but I'm unfamiliar with Mike's brother, is he a decent writer?

Awww shit yeah tomorrow is looking up

Oh, so that's why it's called Black Dawn. I like it.

Seriously though, when the fuck are we getting a Shazam! Rebirth? At least give the poor bastard's name back to him.

First Dr. Hurt…and now Manchester Black?

So I just realized, Death and Return has now happened in the Rebirth continuity, but does this mean Zero Hour happened too? Hal's in this panel which to me says that he's significant, but I have no idea how the fuck they'd fit Zero Hour into the Nu52-niverse.

Ill post soon

YES.

Just let him die man.

Action Comics #979

...

...

...

All-Star Batman #10

...

This is pretty good.

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

Red Hood and the Outlaws #10

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

Was able to post this week might be able to from now on will update mega tomorrow

Thanks again OP.

Man, Superman is gonna be pissed when he finds out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did she not die in the Phantom Zone in Crisis on Infinite Earths?

Why does this feel out of character..

I guess the machine needed to be oiled up. Besides the psychic cliches, it wasn't half bad.

Thoughts?

The Mega is being unfucked now and will be organised soon.

Sorry I cant into webm

For the love of fuck…

I don't like big comic events. I like stories.
Great. It's a new multiverse and an invasion storyline. Haven't seen enough of that!
These people better be villains.
Okay, that's cool.
For fuck's sake.
Sounds pointless and tedious. But then, I gave up on DC's main line with their last round of Crises, and when Rebirth didn't actually return us to the pre-New 52 continuity, I stayed away, so it's not like their losing my business.

Well to be fair to DC's Rebirth and pre-New 52, they pretty much merged the timelines. Fans got what they wanted with the return of Wally "The Best" West, and pre-New 52 Superman.

Much of the Superman related stuff is quite good. The Superman-family in general has been much better than it has been in the past 15 years. That said, they are trying wayyyy too hard with Batman. Nightwing's story was good, until they had him date the SJW. Quite frankly, i'd prefer him knocking up Batgirl or Kory over that shit.

Justice League has been….not awful, but not good either. It's just there, and they deal with way too much multiverse bullshit. Wasn't there a team founded on fighting multiversal threats, so that writers for the Justice League didn't have to do that shit?

Aren't they always?

Not that asshole again.

Well the issue is that they moved away from the Detective and Badass Martial Artist storylines. Now they are focusing on the edge, and forgot why he was so popular in the past.

Successful batman stories need three things:
-Badass Martial Artist
-Detective Work
-Enemies in his skill range

Why the fuck they have him fighting giant monsters, and aliens in beyond me. Hell, for the longest time, he was written as a guy who gives little shits about little else other than Gotham. If they wanted him to be successful, have him leave the JL and return to Gotham, only fighting enemies outside Gotham when they threaten Gotham.

While I don't have any crazy hopes for Metal the story itself, what happening around it seems like a good step, its not a hero vs hero event where consequences will never be the same and that every series will have 10 tie in issues and someone dies at the end, it seems to be its own little thing thats just a summer blockbuster type story, and I am interested in seeing the new talent that they will be bringing in to write minis, if they stick with this DC, hopefully, would cultivate new talent to replace the more cancerous writers that have ingrained themselves over the years. Also I love how they have handleded the other events and crossovers up till this point (Night of the Monster Men, Superman Reborn, The Button and Lazarus contract) even though some of these are not quite amazing it is refreshing to see how they are gracefully handled, DC seems to be taking a mature stance on events and crossovers.

Mega is not fully organised and is still missing some issues but it will be ship shape soon

You know what's missing from that picture? Superboy. Yes, Conner Kent doesn't exist in the new Death and Return.

I assume it was because they couldn't figure out how to fit Nu52 Superboy into Death and Return, but I don't know enough about the character to say that.

We have Jon. No point bringing Connor back. Unless to make him a big brother type character.

Thats actually not a bad idea, he would be Nightwing to Jon's Robin, more or less.
