There's been a few shitty attempts by people here to make comics. They normally only do 'chan' stuff, which is a mistake.

Those with artistic and literary skill should be doing simple stories about animals or fantasy worlds with relatable themes. Standing up for one's nation and family, training to become strong to overcome an evil enemy, dying heroically to protect family and friends, an inquisitor/detective who roots out traitors in a fantasy political setting. There's all sorts of interesting storylines with good morals that can be done, and they are NOT cliched anymore. No one is writing about morality, and certainly not stuff like duty, honour, self-sacrifice and the like. There is a huge market for this, and all you need is some semi-decent writer and an artist who can draw cute/fearsome animals or intriguing outfits on humans (either olde style or futuristic). This is the best thing we can do in the culture war. I'm sure many of us only turned out as we did because those stories that inspired us as children were all about heroic knights fighting dragons, futuristic warriors purging aliens, and great men rejecting temporary materialistic pleasures for the good of their friends/family/tribe, and all that sort of thing. We need to bring these concepts to the younger generations!

Yes later generations of stormtroopers in the Empire were civilians. But quality of training varied dramatically. Some groups were taken in very young and trained over a long period of time while others were taken in as adults and given minimal training.
