Welp, at least now it's officially dead. Now free from ruining Patsy Walker, what new horrors might we expect K'Leth to unleash upon the world now?

Jubilee is on the cover and in the comic, You are far far past the point of disbelief.

It seems to be typical of hack, female writers to have their MC produce something that relates to their own lives, and have it inexplicably popular and everyone loves them and they make lots of money.

Take Hellcat, here - apparently at some point she's written something, and despite never going on any book tours to drum up publicity, and this being her first book, it has *immediately* become a best seller and netted her a tremendous amount of money.

I'm willing to bet that Kate Leth wrote that scene with a massive smile on her face and tears streaming from her eyes, muttering "Yes, Patsy. Everyone loves you Patsy. They love what you write, Katsy and that makes them love you. They love you for what you write, Katesy. You'll make a fortune Kate. Your writing is the very best in the world, Kate."

(The money thing is actually from her Mother, who wrote cutesy romance comics about Patsy's life and were apparently a big hit. Later Patsy became a superhero and fell out with her Mum who willed the rights to the brand to Patsy's best friend/arch nemesis Hedy Wolfe. It's been a sub-plot throughout the series that Hedy is rich off of these comics while Patsy has seen fuck all of them.)

That having been said it's still bullshit given that nothing actually happened here and Patsy getting the rights is just there to make her rich.

She fought against Black Cat late in the series for some reason, but other than that yeah: this is basically a slice-of-life comic that just happens to feature superheroines. As one of the guys in the screencap says, there is no fighting, crime solving, amazing feats or stuff that make superhero comics. Its all girl drama about Hellcat hanging out with her friends, living in a apartment with bed bugs and shit.

I know this series is crap but I was assuming (with low expectations) for it to end on a bigger, more exciting finale (but still crap) and yet it still managed disappoint me with this "final" comic. Even the previous issue felt like a better final comic!
Hopefully the artist can move on to better things.
