Now a fucking dictionary is tweeting politically.
Hang em all.
I think so too. I'm a total pleb, but to my knowledge the 3rd person (it) ends with et/t. well something does, and it's not 2nd
Repeat it enough times and we'll be getting normies used to this household word as being nothing bad and ordinary.
The best they could do is not mentioning it. Same as those anti cultural marxism posters.
I thought kikes were smart.
derp.
ill remember that for next time.
Merriam Webster spürt die Flut kommen = Merriam Webster senses the flood coming
Merriam Webster spürt, dass die Flut kommt = Merriam Webster senses that the flood comes
"komme" is fine. While not used in everyday-german it often appears in chants and similar.
Hail victory
nope, it's not. Lern 2 Konjunktiv.
They're a good dictionary though. Seriously, they're the only one I kind of trust. The way I understand this situation is, "Fascism is our word of the year!" How do you think that will sound to normies? I think they sent the tweet out cause they would do it anyway (unlike most, who just wouldn't, and would try to ignore it), even though they might not want to take that kind of heat. Now, maybe they shouldn't have said anything anyway, but if Fascism becomes their word of the year, that's a sign of integrity.
Their suggestion of
comes off as apprehensive over the fact that it could be the word of the year.
yeah, forgot to check OPs context
Ya, that's what I'm saying. It sounds like they don't want it, but that they might do it anyway. Of course, if they don't do it, that's a complete lack of integrity. I also understand that this tweet is a sort of manipulation in itself, and that's bad too, but if they do it anyway, then I think that's deserving of some respect, even if they clearly showed that they didn't want to have that word as the winner.
r/ing "Die Flut Kommt" webm, taking full advantage of the 12 mb limit.
Yes, if; at this point, it's all conditional until the New Year.
So many people are that illiterate of the term they throw around nigh every chance they get or simply nod their heads when someone else brings it up. What is sadder is that they will not even consider the fact that they know nothing about it but will come out "enlightened" having read a tacky and misappropriated dictionary entry.
Wrong, nigger.
It's SHADILAY with an A.
Yep, if it wins, but they choose something else, I'm not sure what dictionary I'd use at that point. So far, they haven't showed a clear bias in their definitions, unlike whatever Google uses. If they show any sort of forceful bias here, I couldn't really trust them there anymore either.

Almost got 444 trips at 4:44 AM.
I don't have any problem with the tweet. The left will be butthurt thinking MW condones Fascism. Plenty on the right will be butthurt thinking the Word of the Year is a characterization of Trump's rhetoric or victory. The tweet doesn't seem partisan, it seems cognizant of the inevitable shitstorm that will accompany 'Fascism' as the Word of the Year. So that when it does happen, they can shrug their shoulders and say, "We told you how it works. We told you it was coming. We told you how to change it, if you were of a mind. Now, it's done, and we wash our hands of it. Deal with it."
Google uses Oxford post-1993/1996, as this is what my OED2 dictionary program, which predates the new millennium, reads when you search for ethnicity.
Also this is the definition of ethnocide, which I did not know existed.
...
Oh you summer child.
Holla Forums is always right.
Did my part, but they are gonna fudge it anyways and you know it.
I offer you a backup plan: after you look up Fascism, look up coincidence, pure, kike, nigger and such.
...
Absolutely brutal. I should buy one of their dictionaries…
...
What. What? Huh?
...
FASCISM MEANS WHAT MY FEELS SAY IT MEANS HITLER
HAIL VICTORY
Probably a bunch of Carl the Cucks online searching to copy-paste the definition when asked to seriously explain their reasoning as to how Trump is a fascist.
FASC BACK IN FASHION!

Why haven’t we been working to get ‘kike’ up there? Or ‘fiat’? Or ‘genocide’?
I know, user. I looked that up as well, just to be sure. Even so, their definitions have been, at least mostly, completely accurate. I just can't knock them yet, even if their parent company is owned by a Jew.
Sage for old thread.
whats a good word for genocide or the goyim waking up that doesnt involve holohoax
Lügenpresse might work.
WAIT WAIT WAIT
LETS MAKE THE SECOND WORD GOYIM
not in their dictionary, goyim however is.
BY THE WAY

Teach the people that jews have a name for them.

Gas yourself. Webster has been pozzing its definitions every year for decades now. A 50 year old edition might be good, anything newer should go to trash.
It's not the problem of their definitions. The problem is their public relations and the fakeinformation that they are feeding to the public.
Well then why did I get dubs? No, but seriously, if you're going to say they suck, please give examples, cause I've been paying attention when I looked up words just to verify that I knew what they meant, and I've noticed that Merriam specifically doesn't suck. Also, aside from just examples, give me an alternative that doesn't suck.
I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to here, except for the OP. What fake information is it that they're feeding to the public, and what public relations are you referring to? Are you just referring to the OP, or do you have other things to bring up against them?
