If you must use gloves, than use gloves. It could get in the way depending on what types of posters you are using. I use full page shipping labels, which are extremely annoying to apply unless you can use your fingernails. However if you are going to use, say, packing tape (something that will catch fingerprints extremely well) gloves are a must.
