Getting rich from Cuba

Ding dong the witch is dead

so Fidel has kicked the bucket and am having ideas about making money. Now Raul and his dynasty have power but it stands on shaky ground, it’s only a matter of time, let’s say give or take a year or two and the Castro regime will collapse entirely. During the insuring power vacuum, the CIA will no doubt go to work installing democracy to Cuba and opening it doors to world trade. The moment Cuba goes free trade, is the moment every real estate, every wall street agent, every hotel chain and gambling institution raid Cuba for all it’s got, it will look like the collapse of the soviet union all over again.

Now, am a Slavbro currently living in Fort Lauderdale, I've interacted with Cubans all my life and have gotten to know them and their island fairly well. Most Cubans are starved, lazy and stupid, at least those stuck on the island. All it takes is to go to some random smuck in Havana after the collapse and ask him how much he wants for his property, let’s say he owns a decrepit lot in the middle of the city, pay the sucker a pittance of what it’s worth and sit on the property until the hotels and gambling institutions roll in looking for land. Buy up as much prime land you can sucker out of the natives and just sit on it, in less then a decade after the eventually stabilization those properties will be worth millions of dollars.

And don’t even get me started about all the Classic Cars, so have other anons on here been having similar ideas?

Kill half the population and make it another Puerto Rico.

That second pic is of a tranny isn't it.

interesting, but no one would guarantee you the property if you are just an average guy

FLanon here, Cuba is going to be absolute chaos as the weeks go by. Either Raul does everything he can to retain power and stability, which will be hard as patriotic Cubans flood back to their country to retake it and reunite with their families. Then of course, as OP said, the kikes will descend on the country like starving vultures to pillage everything there they possibly can and then some. Then of course the kikes in government will more than likely want to make the country either a territory or very close to it because it would be great strategic asset especially in naval and shipping terms

Cubans I'm split on, plenty are decent while plenty are absolute scum like the other spics. They definitely tend to be much whiter than the other spics as well and are highly patriotic of both this country and their own but it doesn't excuse why they fled Cuba if they love it so much although it could also be argued that Castro was also a murderous tyrannical piece of shit so also understandable. Then of course Miami and other areas of southern South Florida are criminal gang shitholes along with being drug hubs where the majority of the population are both Cubans and kikes. Personally I don't mind them too much, I'm not in Miami and the Cubans in my area are pretty decent. The spics I absolutely despise and view as a much larger threat along with the niggers. They also tend to be Republican but many are also demoshit. Best thing I can think of is send the criminal ones back and keep the decent hard working white ones

franco style gubmint now?

Unfortunately this

Would probably happen.

Ms. Anderson was born with a vagina and still has a vagina to this day.

You're Jewish, I'm guessing?

Holla Forums should pool some money to buy a big house there. Beach parties and retro cars. We could do security or just manual labor to pay the minimal bills.

Is Cuba really that much less stable now that Fidel's dead? I thought Raul had been running the country for a while now.

It isn't any less stable.
And if the government did collapse the refugees would be a bigger problem than implied.
Cubans are entitled little shits regardless.

Looks very much like a tranny. Must be a spic thing.

Does this look like a tranny to you user pics related

Jews aren't the only enterprising individuals on the planet you know, just because OP wants some dosh from ripping off spics on real estate deals don't make him kosher.

I never thought of that but your spot on, Cuba would become a mega hub for transporting goods throughout the Caribbean yet I wouldn't want it as a territory. It would be just more justification for spics to flood the country en mass, I have no doubt Cubans will leave the island in large numbers and flood into the sanctuary cities like Miami once a revolution where to kick off.

OP THIS IS FOR YOU
Your plan won't work unless it's after the revolution and you manage to sort out some sort of a guarantee of property rights.

forgot to spoiler, my bad

Hello anons. I loved in Cuba and studied at University of Havana for a year and earned a certificate in Spanish (Fidel is my fellow alumni). Feel free to ask me anything.

I now work in international shipping and maritime risk management. Similar to China in the 1980s, Cuba is currently developing a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at the Port of Mariel in the islands west. In a communist country an SEZ is a mandated area where free trade and capitalism can occur on a limited scale. This system did economic wonders for China and Vietnam and Cuba hopes to strike gold with their Mariel project. Currently the Port of Mariel is being constructed by a Singaporean firm. By the time the American embargo is inevitably lifted this port will be the largest in the carribean and has the potential to revolutionize the Cuban economy.

Make no mistake about it. There is a fuck ton of money to be made in Cuba in the coming years. As the trappings of the communist system fades away, Cuba will once again become the luxury party destination of the East Coast. If you live near the area, speak Spanish, or you just have a motivation for business, the coming opportunities in Cuba are not to be missed. Slavbro knows what he is talking about.

(Please don't export the classic cars. If anything import spare parts. The island is so much better with them.)

To answer your question, yes Cubans own their homes. Unlike other communist revolutions, the Cubans did not redistribute wealth via real estate. If your family owned a home before the revolution, it remained yours after. However there are many abandoned homes in Havan which belong to Cuban exiles. Since 2011 Cubans can buy and sell real estate. I am not sure if it is possible for a foreign national to buy property, but it most likely will be soon. Ideally, try to buy property from a Cuban exile family. Cubans themselves probably won't sell their homes because it is all they have.

Havana is a very old city and there are not many vacant lots or undeveloped areas. However there is a shit load of delapidated buildings that have been so fucked by communism that they look bombed out.

There are legitimately beautiful beachside buildings built before the revolution, with ornate stone work that you just don't see anymore. And they have no windows no doors and a bunch of nigger squatters. I'm telling you guys, there are a lot of beautiful building a in Havana that the people don't give a shit about, they haven't even been painted in decades. If you can buy one of these buildings in the near future for pennies on the dollar and remodel it and sell it in 10 years you will make a killing.

Follow in the path of the God Emperor. Buy old buildings, make it into a luxury condo, and become a billionaire. This is our time. Cubans themselves don't have the capital for such projects. They need foreign investment. THERE ARE FUCKING DEALS TO BE HAD BOYS

Do you have a source to backup that claim? I can't believe that didn't happen, no property distribution?

my family owned a hotel and some other businesses in cuba, but it was seized

Any me Jewing my family out of it, and getting the land back? Or will it be like Canada or the Weimer where foreign money takes all the land, and drives prices up too high for the locals.

I don't have any sources, this is based on conversations with Cubans. I encourage you to do independent research of course, but from what I understand Cuban family homes were generally left alone. Many types of property were indeed nationalized, such as hotels, refineries, and private clubs.

One thing most people do not understand is that the Cuban Revolution did not begin as a communist. It was a popular uprising against Batista. For the first two years of revolutionary Cuba, Castro's government tried to maintain the economy and radical wealth redistribution wouldn't have gone over well with both the population and American businesses.

Ironically, it was the US which drove Cuba into communism. The Bay of Pigs in '61 really spooked the revolutionary government, and as a result closer ties with the USSR were sought by the Cubans as a hedge against American machinations. And so, Cuba began transforming into a communist society. But people should know that wasn't the plan in 1959 when Castro rode into Havana, it was a product of necessity.

you act like my first idea upon hearing Castro is dead isnt to book a trip and make some Cuban family very happy by buying a cherry red '57 Chevrolet from them.

or of course do exactly what the fuck the US was doing in the 40s and 50s: making it a Caribbean Las Vegas. Might invest in some rum distilleries too.

Nu-Holla Forums education strikes again

Hmmm…is your family Cuban? A Cuban family has a strong chance of reclaiming pre-revolution property if you can provide proof. However if your family was vocally anti-Castro it is likely your rights to the property were taken long ago.

If your family is not Cuban, you will probably never get the property back. If it was seized, it was probably seized in the name of the people and nationalized long ago.

As far as foreign property investment driving up prices, it is unlikely, at least for the immediate future. The Cuban people are very proud of their nation and their system despite its faults and the state has been very reticent to allow any sort of major foreign investment which might change that. Cuba is extremely wary of foreign exploitation of any kind. These days, Spain is pretty much the only foreign party allowed to open up new businesses in Cuba, in the form of some hotels. However the future is of course unknown.

Cuban doctors and Cuban engineers make around 30 USD per month. Cuban people have no capital, their most valuable possessions are pre-revolution homes and cars in their family's name.

So yes, you will indeed make a Cuban family very if you buy their Chevrolet. It will be more cash than their family has had in many decades. Good luck getting it off the island however. Also, Cuban cars, although cool as fuck, have been used as daily drivers for over 50 years and are held together with bubble gum and duct tape. Although it would make a great story, you'd probably be better off getting a lightly driven garage-kept car stateside. But then again, you can't put a price on a story like that.

"I saved this car from communist hell and brought it back to 'Merica were it belongs."

Godspeed user. Although I personally think Cuban cars should remain in Cuba.

Yeah slavbro, your plan sounds jewish but I can't blame you for wanting to make money.

It'll be a madhouse when it happens but when the dust settles, that island will be a virtual goldmine of industry. Cuba is like that hot latina in your post;ready and willing for a good long fuck. It's collapse will make many rich probably on the same level as the Russian oligarchs.

Castro was the pinnacle of the pyramid, he was the big brother type figure holding Cuba together. The old fuck didn't need to exercise any political power, by simply existing he served his purpose to the state.

So is ops plan a possibility in the long run? Taking your firsthand knowledge of Cuba and it's people, will an average americano like myself be able to convince an island monkey to part with his property?

Do Cubans haggle or do they fold easily, will the allure of quick cash be enough to convince them? OP has infected me with his money making scheme, it doesn't sound half bad for the foreseeable future. Am going to find myself with a sizable amount of cash by that time and it doesn't sound like a bad investment as long as the new regime can offer a guarantee of property rights.

Feel free to share anything else about Cuba and Cubans in general and if you don't mind me asking why did you study there anyway? Are you Cuban?

Like it is done in Africa. First you improve the infrastructure, preferably subsidized by a state or the (((UN))).
Then you work the locals to their death harvesting the natural resources, which you ship out of the country over the improved infrastructure.

spoiler that porn next time user
this isn't Holla Forums

Spics are very mannish, and they always try to hide the fact, like trannies.

heres a plan

step 1: buy up as much Cuban residential land as you can, and apartment and hotel buildings too
step 2: sell the houses/living spaces to Cubans in Florida for a a discount so big that you only get a small profit, make sure that they're actually Cuban before you sell it to them
step 3: Cubans leave Florida

in fact why dont you just tell trump to do this via twitter

right now

and don't forget to refurbish the houses before selling them, if they look worn down

he forgot see

Can I buy the Cuban land from Aussie?

In 2014 Putin went to Cuba, wrote off the whole Cuban debt and gave them weapons, in return he opened FSB facilities and got access to the naval ports.

CIA is late, Cuba is Putinland now.

how much is acre land?

man I can only imagine it, there must be thousands of old Fords, Chevys and even Studebakers still in relativity decent condition in that shithole. It'll be a blast for the collector car market the moment Cuba goes democracy.

Do you have a source to back that up?

Fidel hasn't been in power officially since 2008, and his brother and the group of generals who run the country don't seem keen on changing anything politically or economically.

What makes you think change is coming now?

step 4: Reduction in Cuban-expat-now-US-citizen voters in FL causes 29 electoral votes to become reliably blue.

Change won't be coming anytime soon, as least that's what I think. Raul is only 5 years younger than Fidel, when he kicks the bucket shit will really hit the fan as the cigar-monkeys realize they have an actual chance to usurp power from the oligarchy.

ops plan will work in a couple of years after the eventual democracy that is to come afterwords stabilizes, so op better start saving up money.

I'll probably buy land also, I always wanted a beach house in the Caribbean.

thats jewish tier

It's almost like everyone wanted communism gone to steal from these people, not because "it doesnt work", or "poor people with no democracy".

And, a shocker, communists protect people from capitalist vultures.

Impossible, i know.
