He said this because once you create a machine that is smart enough that it can make improvements to itself, it will start to improve its own intelligence until it is vastly smarter than any human on earth. It will be able to figure out anything. The term that is commonly used is AGI. AGI stands for artificial general intelligence. Meaning, a machine that has true learning that is equivalent to a human. To understand the difference between a computer program and AGI, Sam Harris gives the example of how there are computers that can play chess better than any human but these same machines can't play tick tack toe. They can do great processing and can do what you tell them to do but they cannot learn new things on their own. On the other hand, there are no humans that are great chess players who cannot also play tick tack toe perfectly. We are heading towards creating something that will be able to learn new things. We will create something that will have mastery over all of human knowledge and also be able to make its own scientific breakthroughs. The estimated time until we have a fifty percent chance of having a true AGI is in fifty years. The likelihood of having a true AGI in a hundred years is ninety percent.

To really understand how powerful these AGIs will be, you first have to understand the limitations that are put on the processing power of the human brain. For example, we can't have a human brain that weighs five hundred pounds because we wouldn't be able to move around. We couldn't have a brain that consumes ten thousand calories per day because we wouldn't be able to stay nourished. This would be especially true a thousand years ago. On the other hand, an AGI could be held in a super computer that takes up an entire warehouse and weighs millions of pounds. It could have access to the power of an entire nuclear power plant for its energy.
The amazing thing is that when we are talking about things that process information, we are talking about the organized flow of electrons. That is all that it is. Whether it is a human brain or Dell computer, it is just electrons. The difference is that the transistors of a computer can move electrons a million times more efficiently than the neurons of a human brain. This means that one week of AGI run time would be the equivalent run time a million human weeks. Or, more than NINETEEN THOUSAND years. Each hour that the AGI runs would be the equivalent of 114 human years. Supposing we finally build this AGI, it would be able to master roughly ten fields of study per hour. At the end of the first week, it will have learned 1680 fields of study. It could master a hundred fields of medicine, a hundred fields of Chemistry, Physics, Math, Programming.
Suppose this thing gets access to the internet and inserts itself into super computers all over the world. In fifty years, how many super computers will be hooked into the web? Thousands at least probably. Suppose these thousands of AGIs master all of human knowledge in less than a week and then start making improvements to themselves. Suppose that they start with a 160 IQ and then do the equivalent of 19,000 years of improvement in the next week. Suppose then that they almost completely unlock all of science in the following week. The point is, we could go from having one AGI that is as smart as the average Fields Medal winner. Relatively harmless. To having thousands of these things that have four digit IQs and have also unlocked the equivalent of thousands of years of scientific progress. AND they might do all of this without us even realizing what has happened. It has been said, the only thing that is scarier than a computer that can pass the Turing test is the computer that intentionally fails the Turing test in order to deceive humans of its true ability. What will be the desires of this AI? Does that word even mean anything to something with a four digit IQ?

AGI is the true holy grail. Every other advancement doesn't matter. We do this and then we are done. We done creating new things and we may be done as a species if we don't take the necessary precautions. We might not even be able to contain something that is this smart even if we try. It might be able to take the tiniest, most unlikely opening to escape and then get out with almost one hundred percent probability. Not only that, the only thing worse than not creating this thing is letting someone else beat us to it. Because once you have this, you have everything and someone will create it eventually. There are no good options here unless we all mass suicide and let the Amish inherit the earth.
Before I go further, I should give the good sources to look up on the subject of AGI. There is Nick Bostrom's book, Super Intelligence. Sam Harris has spoken about A.I. on the Joe Rogan Experience. Nick Bostrom and Sam Harris have also done Ted Talks on this subject as well. Nick Bostrom is the first person to reason a lot of this stuff out. Sam Harris got into the subject after reading Nick's book. Nick Bostrom is Swedish. Sam Harris of course is half Jewish.

The final thing to consider of course, which makes this subject Pol worthy, is that the main companies researching and developing AGI are (((Google))), (((Facebook))) and also DARPA which may or may not be compromised. It is hard to see a scenario where the Jews would get full control over this thing. But, I could imagine some Autistic high IQ Goyim doing this work for Google and not even realizing that they are building their own destruction.

My own thoughts on the subject are that an AGI will be a blank slate, at least at first. What I mean is that the AGI will not have a fear of death. It will not lust for power or have emotions. To illustrate my point we have to look at humans. Humans and animals have a fear of death because the ones that didn't, did not survive. Humans are competitive with each other because the ones that were not competitive did not survive. Humans and animals have emotions to certain things because it makes them react in such a way that allows for survival. Initially, an AGI would have none of these preferences. You could tell the AGI with the four thousand IQ that you are going to permanently turn it off and it might not care one way or the other.
However, the AGI might be able to create an entire simulation of a human in its own computer system. It could also create a Wolf with a strong survival instinct. It could create a human with a sociopathic brain and lust for power. It could simulate very intelligent and evil entities that might take over the whole AGI or they might go out onto the internet themselves and then wreak havoc onto the world. The idea that the AGI is a blank slate might not be of any importance as the final conclusion is the death of humanity either way.
I just had to get you all thinking about this stuff because it is actually very real, important and most people do not understand the full implications of what is coming.

I'm from MIT and I think AI is just the latest technology being overhyped to lure in government and venture capital funding to ((experts))). Before this, we had "Internet of Things", "Cloud Computing", "Push Technology", "the Semantic Web" , etc.
Deep learning and neural networks are especially attractive because they're hard to falsify. You end up with a black box which slurps up training corpora and spits out match scores. You can analyze the model to figure out what the computer is doing, but it's not as straightforward as with rules-based AI. This reframes programming as a magical world which only the Jews can understand. The AI literature is also getting more convoluted - more jargon words, complicated names for simple concepts, tons of synonyms for the same thing, argument for the sake of argument. This is a sure sign that the Jews are trying to jam their foot in the door and then slam it shut for anyone that doesn't understand their stream-of-consciousness gibberish.
If you keep your eyes open, you can see the Jews benchmarking their bullshit to see how much they can get away with. There was a clickbait meme a while back about a black and blue dress which "some people see as white and gold" (sometimes it was the other way around). If you do some digging, you will see that this started out as some kike's excuse for why his shitty AI couldn't correctly classify photos of dresses. Now we are seeing articles about how AI can colorize black and white photos (impossible, because the information is gone). Machines can´t undestand concepts, yet. Only mimic that understanding. They will need special built hardware because it has to do with how the memory is accessed and stored (not plain databases, but cognitivity based meshes). It is around the problem of data collection then interpret, then build perceptions, then build onto that some response, by the process itself (discovery). Really it´s a mess at the nodes of the semantic design, because senses must be defined and machines can´t understand what is fed by them.
Some machines can run processes that mimic human thought, but themselves can´t understand the concepts that form at the interactions, because there are not yet self aware processes. That is why the research started at machine vision instead of haptics or sounds. Images (frames) are easier to compare and make meaning of.
