It's better that African countries finally get their shit together to become proper trade partners, trading their own resources for shit that will improve their quality of life.

If the so-called "global warming" or climate change happens, there's a theory that Africa will become even more fertile and would make it finally become properly self-sustaining and powerful under the right guidance. China might be the one to do that for them to make things easier for both parties, even if their primary objective is their oil and industry.
