you can't judge the whole comic based on the ending; overall, it's a good comic

The moment dave and john stopped talking to each other the quality nosedived, when they started talking again the comic was in the complete shitter.

Roxy is the only likable one of the nuKids.

The comic ended in a unsatisfactory protracted dribble a year ago, and all the halfway-good looking camwhores got bored of the autism and stopped doing nude cosplay four years before that.

Fuck I ain't no shipper but it pissed me off that Hussie started teasing John and Roxie only to forget it for le Calliope Friendship. Fucking meme character goddamn it.

That shit fucking pisses me off. If you start a bullshit romance plot and spent dozens of fucking chapters building it up and then drop it because you didn't know what to do with it or because people didn't like it then you're a moron. Finish what you start or don't start at all. To throw again tons of story and character away because the reception it got wasn't what you expected or because it was dragging the story is bullshit. And it always leads to rushed development and unsatisfactory shit. If you're gonna change all the fucking story mid-through then just start from scratch again, because at that point the characters and story isn't even the same anymore. And never let the audience influence you too much, if you do everything they say they will pull you in every possible direction and crash you into the rocks.

I'll rather read a longass story with some bullshit that drags on too long but has a proper beggining, middle and end that one that drops everything mid-way and rushes to the end, in the procces invalidating everything I just spent reading/watching.

I enjoyed it up to a point… but it was clear the author himself had his own favorites and started to revolve the plot around them or whoever the fans got really into.

I may also be bitter the abandoned the interaction angle where people decided what would happen like in previous stories. I understand it makes it very difficult to make a flowing narrative but with the volume of input he had access too i think it would have worked out fine.
